Rick Owens 16oz Black Detroit Jean & Oyster Vintage Sneaks
The Rick Owens LUXOR version of the Made in Japan Detroit jean is here. We love the way these turned out, and are excited to offer this model in what we think is the most versatile jean silhouette Rick Owens produces. These are made of Rick Owens’ in-house developed 16oz black/black Japanese selvedge denim which has a sulfur dyed warp and reactive dyed weft for maximum fading character.
Rick Owens’ DRKSHDW Vintage Sneak are also here. These are made of a heavily brushed cotton and vegetable fiber Oyster outer with a Black viscose blend stripe. Buy now or cry about it later.

3sixteen Crosscut Flannels & Jacquard Shop Jackets
We’ve got a hot one this week from 3sixteen. First up we have their Rust Twill crosscut flannel from their new fall collection. These are produced of a 100% cotton medium-weight flannel which is slack weave woven for extra pattern depth and are finished with enamel coated metal fisheye buttons.
We also have new shop jackets made of one of the wildest fabrics we've seen from 3sixteen. These are made of a unique jacquard fabric and the jacket features three large pockets and is finished with corozo nut buttons.

Self Edge Graphic Series T-Shirt #19 - Iced Out Kei Truck
#19 in our Graphic Series is based on a photograph taken in Japan 13 years ago. We were in Tokyo to meet with our Japanese brands… it was early morning outside our hotel in Shibuya, a Kei truck stopped in front of us and the driver jumped out unloading bags of ice into the bar next door. Emblazoned on the back of the truck were the words “POOR ICE SPOIL YOUR WHISKY”. Over the years we kept coming back to the photo, the words, and the idea of a small batch ice delivery company freezing water overnight so they can deliver it to bars wanting to serve their patrons perfectly crystal clear cubes of ice. We twisted the concept a bit and made it our own for these graphic tees. ⠀
We’ve done this t-shirt in collaboration with typographic artist and SESF crew member, Ry Faraola.

Fine Creek RichmondS66 Type I Shinki Horsehide Jacket
Fine Creek finally hits us with a Type I jacket made of Shinki horsehide; we’ve been waiting what seems like years for this jacket to come back. These are made of a 1.5mm vegetable tanned, aniline finished, tea-core dyed Shinki horsehide leather and finished with a pigment dyed 100% cotton liner and vintage style steel buttons. These are not produced by a factory producing jackets for other brands, these are produced in Fine Creek’s own small workshop in Tokyo.

The Globe Specs 2023 Fall Collection
The 2023 Globe Specs x Old Joe and Scye collections are here. These capsule collections were designed by Tetsuya Okada of Globe Specs with Yusuke Takagi of Old Joe working on the OJ models. The frames are fully handmade in Japan out of titanium, acetate, and nickel alloy and come with custom hard cases. These models are inspired by early 20th century eyewear designs and are extremely comfortable due to their light weight and well proportioned designs

3sixteen has done a limited run of their popular Type 3s denim jacket for their 20th anniversary in a new 15.4oz organic cotton natural indigo Japanese selvedge denim. This denim has a deep indigo shade and a medium level of weave variation running through the fabric and has been sanforized to minimize shrinkage. Available now at all stores in limited numbers.

The Rick Owens LUXOR Winter Collection
The Rick Owens Made in Japan LUXOR collection is here.
Rick Owens’ Stooges jacket is now available for the first time made in Japan out of a 1.4mm black Japanese tea-core horsehide. These jackets are exclusive to Self Edge and just a few other stores around the world. Made of a specially developed horsehide which was hybrid dyed to spec; it is first chrome tanned with the chrome finish stripped from the leather then vegetable tanned and dyed.
The Outershirt is now available in three different fabrics. We have a 12oz selvedge sage denim, a soft black wool, and a 10.5oz black ombre flannel; all are finished with Japanese made YKK hardware and come with two zippered inner pockets.
Lastly we have the GETH jean, this time in a cargo style made out of the new LUXOR 12oz selvedge sage Japanese denim.

Introducing Hermanos Koumori - Mind Tools from Mexico City
We’re happy to announce we’ll be carrying Hermonos Koumori at all 4 of our stores in the US. This has been a brand we’ve been stocking at Self Edge Mexico for 4 years, and it’s been one of our best selling lines there for the past few seasons. Hermanos Koumori is a graphic heavy line influenced by ancient Aztec and Mayan cultures with a heavy link to running; all types of running, mind running, physical running, spiritual running…. The line was started in 2018 in Mexico City by Alex Sandler and Alex Leon; we’ve gotten to know them very well over the years and are excited to bring their collection to the states.

Introducing Devoa - Textile Research & Development from Japan
Devoa is a Japanese artisanal clothing line which was started in 2006 by Daisuke Nishida, the same year we started Self Edge. Nishida majored in psychology and minored in human anatomy studies, but after college followed his passion of wrestling and ended up becoming a professional wrestler, then coached wrestling for years. As a side job Nishida worked in high end retail stores and showrooms in Tokyo for years and in 2006 quit wrestling and retail to start his own clothing line. The basis of Devoa is the exploration of the human anatomy with a high focus on textile design. Nishida is extremely hands-on with the line and fully involved in all design, sourcing, production, and even wholesaling duties. We’re excited to bring Devoa to all five Self Edge stores starting this week, definitely stop in and check out the line, much of it needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
What you see online is what is available at our four stores in the states, we have a completely different selection of Devoa at our Mexico store. New releases from Devoa will be landing at all stores every 3 months.
