Back on that pizza grind..

Did a margherita, a Rosa (stolen from Bianco), a New Yorker (from Gemignani), and a Carbonara (stolen from the Internet). Wife's favorite was the New Yorker (as always, not sure anything will ever beat that for her). And mine might have been the Carbonara...first time we tried it, and I really liked it.
Spent some time in Jackson Hole last week, and was able to get in a hike at Grand Teton. Didn't see any moose or bears, but still had many beautiful views.

A little sun on my morning walk.
(Ignore that unscrewed crown...bad job by me. I remedied it as soon as I noticed it after taking this photo)
Was going to do a low effort brisket yesterday for the Masters today. But when at the store in the morning, found they had pork butt on super sale...so ended up grabbing one of those too and moving things to an offset.

About seven hours in...

All done, and just before putting her to bed in the warmer for the night. Not the prettiest picture...black chunks of meat in terrible light are hard to capture, but I'll try to remember to grab some pics when I slice into her later today.

Been in the game a while, but never got around to attempting sausage. Finally gave it a go today. Just did a fresh sausage, no curing or cold smoking...baby steps. Turned out great, had fun, and feel much more confident in the process now. On to the full shebang next time.

Doing a decent size cook for my parent's Anniversary Party tomorrow, so a good excuse to use the big boy.
Fresh on, earlier this afternoon:

The last check, about 7 hours in:

Cooker just cruising along:

Ribs and turkey will probably go on later tonight, so it's gonna be a long one. But I love it, so no complaints.
The sausage education continued this weekend. Since I do a lot of Texas style BBQ, felt like I had to attempt a jalapeño and cheddar link. Turned out pretty good, and learned some things along the way.
Freshly stuffed:

All this pizza talk inspired me to fire up the pizza oven on a cold winter night yesterday. Glad I did, all the pies hit the spot.

@blue2gnt Last I checked it was $35 for return shipping from the States.
As a side note, I tried to order two different sizes of a shirt late last year, and the team got back to me and strongly encouraged me to use the chart to try and select my best fitting shirt, as they're now paying the Duty/Tariffs for the US bound shipments (and couldn't afford to continually send two sizes if one was coming back for sure). This was totally understandable for me, and luckily I chose the right one. Not sure if this is still the policy, but thought I might pass that along.
Good luck on the sizing!

The double heavy weights rock... Worn through the winter over here. You should look at the Fleeced Fox hoodies / sweats. I was put off initially cos the colors are kinda plain but wound up with an outmeal one and its great. VERY soft and the marl is more interesting in real life. I think I prefer it to the double heavy French Terry over time.
I concur...big fan of the Fleeced Fox Fibre. The Double Heavy's are a bit too much for the weather here...so the Fox Fibre is the perfect weight.
Can't lie though, really thinking about trying out the Super Looper which drops later today. Sounds like it sits right between the Double Heavy and Fox Fibre, in terms of weight. Will probably end up giving it a go.

Wait... how did you guys get these? How do I order one?
They're currently included with all orders (until they run out).
Missed the posting party yesterday...but here's mine on the (insanely overpriced) OEM green strap. My usual summer setup for this watch.

@tody Ha...I'll try to take one later tonight when I get home, or sometime during the week.
It took everything in me not to change into it, but figured my coworkers might look at me a little sideways if I showed up with such an aggressive wardrobe change, post-lunch

Not my size, but looks like there is a size medium available!!
I was the lucky recipient of your bump on this. Just came in today, and I'm in love.
Many thanks to you and also the Iron Heart team for getting me sorted!
@scarfmace You definitely should...it's been a lot of fun (other than the cleanup).
Thanks! Not so sure I completely nailed it though, but definitely on the right track. All the more reasons to continue making more down the line, to try and hone my skills.
