Hope the sleeves shorten up a bit with wear.

I'm a great admirer of most tonal, classic IH gear, but heavily lean towards the light- and mid-weight stuff, as one can get so much more year-round wear out of it. I may need to pick this one up after all...

3 things I would be heavily interested in:

1. Piqué in the 888 cut
2. Modified Type III in Broken Twill
3. Modified Type III in a brown/camel/natural sheepskin.

@PDXPean IH hot washes most (all?) of their non-leather/technical clothing at the end of production, if I'm not mistaken. Thusly, soaking is redundant, and shrinkage will typically be very minimal.

Plenty of stretch with this fabric though.

I love how matte/faded these are right out of the box. Black for those of us who don't wear black.

Those are washed and the product photos of both colors show pretty significant initial fading, so I'd bet these are fast faders. It doesn't feel too light? I don't think I've owned a cotton jacket that weighs less than 12oz.

What are your impressions of the fabric/weight?

It's been on my S/S Want list, but I may be stuck between sizes on this one, on account of the wider body... The cut on the indigo/black 14oz Type III is indeed the gold standard.
