Greetings,
Apologies for a long lurking period before this intro. I have been accumulating IH jeans, shirts and vests for a few years now. So happy that I stumbled across IH after trying other brands. The quality of IH products and exceptional customer service blew me away and this Forum has a collection of interesting people!
I have been retired a few years now and enjoying wearing whatever I want after decades of dressy, conformist work clothing. I live in central Virginia and am enjoying rural life while also doing a fair amount of travel.. I do a lot of gardening, photography and fiddling with my car and guitar.
On a recent Japan trip my wife and I visited the IH shop in Kojima and hope to see the UK crew in person someday.
Finally I’ll get cracking on some pics- perhaps to celebrate my incoming IH-526SVod.
Thank you all for being such a great resource on IH.

What you do when you have short arms…
Even with a lot o arm stacking, my short arms are overwhelmed by IH jackets that fit my torso. Not a big problem though as I have a great excuse to accumulate vests. My new arrival in on the right- OD to add to indigo and SB. Sized up on the new vest for heftier layering come the Fall.

RE: Watches - another OCD problem
@jdwaid Beautiful watch. One of my first Seiko’s was similar. Think it was called the SARB.

RE: Watches - another OCD problem
Went into a watch store in 1999 to buy an Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch. Left with this Speedmaster Day/Date Reduced as for that time, the Moon Watch looked large on my wrist (my how things have changed). I know many are bothered by the non-traditional dial layout for a Speedy, but I like it. No regrets as this watch has held up so well despite regular wear and occasionally heavy use. Serviced once. Still accurate.[link text](

RE: IHSH-362-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Superblack (Fades to Grey)
@Tobi Funny, the only thing that makes me think twice about another helping of food is if I can fit into my IH clothes. Maybe a new dieting method. And like many diets, it doesn’t necessarily work….

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
@CosmoSix5 I should check Division Road out as I live nearby. What has been holding me back is some of their styles- a little too fancy for me-or so it appears. Maybe a visit is worth it though to check out what looks like a good shoe/boot collection.

@mecken88 Love the two types of pockets- looks good and practical too. Congrats!

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2025 EDITION
@tody Sounds so familiar- the struggles of needing a size 37. Does provide a good incentive for watching the calories. I always ask the crew to send me the biggest 36 they have, then work on the stretch- and calories.

RE: The (Less intimidating) Watch Thread
@Danimal506 yes, now that you mention it, that’s the model #. Seems the SARBS were consistently well made- unlike many Seiko’s with misaligned dials and markers.
