I say wait until spring or summer, cutting your hair off late fall/winter sucks (like temprature, rainshedding-wise) if you're used to having long hair.

Where can I get thunder soap? Or what kind of soap should I use to wash my jeans?

And can I soak my jeans folded up in a bucket?

Riff- I say buzz it all off.  You'll be amazed at how much less time and money you spend on grooming.  And don't worry about the cold- just invest in a decent hat/beanie and you're set.

tjonow- try emailing Gordon at Blue In Green to see if he has any.  Lots of folks use Woolite Black when they wash their jeans.  Soaking in a bucket should work just fine.

tjonow - Dr. Bronner's is your friend.  comes in lots of different scents too, which is nice.

looks like a langlitz cascade with shoulder padding.

googled that. only picture i could find was this from their website:

he makes it look so lame…

The seat of my jeans are feeling really soft and fade incredibly faster than the rest of my jeans.. Probably due to biking. Should I soak/wash them to strengthen the denim even though the rest of the jeans are pretty knew? What if I wanted contrasty fades?

biking will always make the seat area break in faster…give them a quick soak...

                                      thanks.

couldnt find a cascade with padding so i clicked on "custom made" or whatever, added up the price. and it came out to be about $1000 USD lol.
