    @jacoavlu:

thinking of buying the Herman Miller Aeron adjustable chair for work
(I sit there hours a day)
    any reasonable alternatives?
don't want to spend much more than the HM costs which is around $800.
    has to be available online

Don't have recommendations for alternatives, but I would stay away from the Aeron, unless you've spent several hours sitting in one and know you like it.  I used one for a couple of months at work and could never get it adjusted into a comfortable setting.  Soured me on them considerably.  They look cool, though.

Given the excitement surrounding (at least for me anyway) the ongoing Self-Edge sale and the last of the SR Annie's, I have a question:

Is there/Will there be another unsanforized denim in the works? Other than the 18oz raw busters? I need to know!!

I should've known that, jaco, you are on point!

But I meant to ask if there was anything after that in the works?…

They were sent today. Unfortunately I do not have a tracking number since it is international and they said once it's over the border it is out of their hands. It should be about a week they said, but could be a little longer. I do have the customs number if you need it.

Lol, sounds promising, eh? So, bets on whether anything shows up?

depending on how the item was sent the tracking number is the international paper work the sender had to complete.  if they have no tracking they could at least provide a copy of the receipt information from the usps or whatever carrier they used.

I think that we will have enough 21/23oz for approx 50 pairs of something when we have completed the run of IH-634S-RAW

                          any preference between:

                          gitman vintage or hamilton 1883

if you have a preference, why/why not?

Gitman Vintage myself. I honestly can't remember trying on Hamilton 1883 recently. Gitman Vintage has a wider array of fabrics and patterns that appeal to me more. Some are cross overs. Not sure that helps but my opinion.

mulling over getting one or a dozen shirts & trying to figure out what route i want to take . . .

                                I can't comment on gitman
but I'm a big Hamilton fan, got 6-7 shirts, just the basics
the 1883 ocbd is my go to work shirt
the size M fits me perfect for one
the fit and finish is excellent
love the oxford fabric, so buttery soft and gets better with every wash
their customer service while not super speedy is superb otherwise
twice when I wanted to try another size
they just sent me out another shirt to try no charge
                                I appreciate that trust
they ain't cheap for an off the rack dress shirt
but I think they're well worth it

oh and I've bought all mine directly from Hamilton

as far as fabrics etc, Hamilton of course has a huge custom shirt service too
the 1883 stuff is just the off the rack line

yeah i was checking them out cause you posted a flick of a linen shirt you had from them.  i investigate a bit more & boom,  here i am trying to decide.

i'm in ny i need to get my lazy ass in a store & check out the shirts  😠

i just really hate going in most menswear stores.  oh well one vote for each so far from two dudes that i see get fresh on a regular basis.  ok, where's nameness, dr.pat, geo (if you get fresh & i missed you sorry, these folks just came to mind right away). . .
