Anyone out there a 9.5D brannock that can confirm their size in these.
I’ve read this whole thread a couple times and looked at all the charts etc. I’m still stuck between wondering if I’d be a size 9 or 8.5

I’m a 42 in Birks
Size 9 in Lofgrens (I put inserts in to take up some volume)
Vans (old skools 9.5 others size 10)
Vibergs UK sizing 310 and Pachena Bays 8.5

Phew!! Hahah. That’s all the data I have.

I wear a 9.5d in Iron Rangers, 9.5 in Lofgren M43, have the IHSN-01 in 10 and 11 and both fit good bit I like the fit of the 11 more, little more wiggle room @Mizmazzle

Interesting you went up in size from your Red Wings as from what I’ve read these IHSN-01s are more in line with UK sizing. So like a 9.5D Red Wings would go down to a 8.5 in these.

At least that’s how I’ve been interpreting what I’ve read.

I am a 9.5 D in RW, 10 in Vans and wear a 9 in these. Fwiw, the Viberg 310 which are UK sizing i also wear a 9.

Do you find them to have good toe wiggle room?

Toes are fine wearing thin/sneaker socks which is what i do. With thicker socks toe area would be a bit too tight. Hope this helps @Mizmazzle

@Mizmazzle @Twistlock funny how different feet are. I could never do a 9 in these sneakers because my feet are too wide. The 9.5d I wear in IR are on the edge of causing discomfort but after a long break in they fit like gloves. Also I always wear thicker socks like chup or IH socks.

True that @FlavourFade. I wear these mostly Spring/Summer with thinner socks, can't stand my feet getting hot. Fall/Winter is mostly boots.
For wearing thicker socks i would probably take 9.5 in these.

These have got to come back... I've only recently discovered Moonstar and love my pair. But the IH denim upper would be amazing... Fading my sneakers........

I almost posted these for sale today. I felt they were too small. I decided to give them a try again with the thinnest socks I could find. I think I might be able to do this!!
Hoping the width at the toe box will loosen up with break in. The only real problem is a bit of pinky toe pressure.
Any experience with the break in loosening up that pinky toe area?

BTW…these sneakers are the coolest ever!!

@travisxray based on my experience I’d say probably a size 10. I’m a 9.5D brannock and these are a 8.5. Wish they were a size 9. But going to see if I can make em work. Hoping a break in will loosen things up.

I think that’s what I came to the conclusion of in the past. I almost bought a pair of 10s at one point and I wish I would’ve. Thanks for that man.

@Mizmazzle they fit you divinely my friend, mine were also a little tight and uncomfortable the first day but they give way quite quickly. I would advise you to try wearing them for a few days and then evaluate, in my opinion they will fit you very soon

Hi, I had a few of these … to help you with sizing, I would recommend to get the same size as you would with chuck taylors. You could also do a half size down, but I wouldn't recommend it for long term.

Beat the crap out of a pair (use them for riding) , they age nicely... Would def stay true to size or even size up next time.
