      Motors are cheapish- I seem to recall them going for about $150 in a parts supply catalog that's buried somewhere in my office.  I'm afraid of the shipping charges (and what my wife would do to me if I brought home a second antique sewing machine).

          I'm just arranging air freight.  Not sure how long till it is here.  I guess about 4 weeks.  I then need to hook up a small compressor (to autofold the hem), then learn how to use it.  G

                                  I'm getting it delivered to the Brewery, where they have a fork lift truck.  Unpack it there (prob have a few pints whilst I admire it), then promptly sew 2 fingers together….G
