Just when we thought Chup socks couldn’t get any tougher, the “Defender” takes the durability of the brand’s signature “Life Long” socks one step further.
Each sock is knitted with highly durable Cordura
yarn, which is 7 times as strong as conventional yarn. Cordura is used throughout the entire construction of the sock, not just in the heel, toe and sole (the minimum requirement for socks to be able to use the Cordura name). This extends their lifespan by 6 to 10 times that of ordinary cotton socks — scientifically tested and verified.Compared with the standard model, the “Defender” features thicker pile knitting in the heel and toe, reinforcing these high-wear areas while adding extra cushioning for comfort.
