Big shout out to Ben who looked out a tag36 which were 37.5. Soaked them and managed, somehow, to get them back on. I’m really happy with the fit. I have 888UHR which I had to admit to myself aren’t good on me.
I have been wearing them to work in, what is for Scotland, very hot weather. I own a coffee shop and stand in front of a hot, steamy espresso machine all day…..it hasn’t been a pleasant!

RE: Where does everyone live?
Hello.
Bought some UHR888s in February and have an IHSH-62-ind on the way. Just happy to have found somewhere where I don’t feel obliged to apologise for spending so much money on clothes!
I live between Inverness and Aberdeen in Scotland. I own a coffee shop. After a busy day, there’s usually enough coffee in the cuffs of my jeans to knock out an espresso or two.

RE: IH-888S-UHR - 21/23oz Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans
So, here is my story which I know may raise a few eyebrows.
Bought my jeans in February. Soaked them. Washed them. Hated them.
Re-washed them at 90deg. Tumble dried them. Loved them.
However, the process completely destroyed the leather patch. It was, literally, like wood and eventually snapped in half so I cut it off.

RE: Introduce Yourself Here
Hello.
Punks not dead.
All my life I lusted after a pair of engineer boots (In my youth everyone wanted to be Joe Strummer!). Of course this led to selvedge denim and now I’m down the rabbit hole…..
I stand at an espresso machine all day long. Every time I hear loose change jingling into the tip jar on the counter I imagine how much closer I am to a new, beautifully made bit of kit. I suppose it comes from being the youngest of 4 brothers and wearing ‘hand me downs’ most of my childhood (believe me, there wasn’t much life left in the clothes when it was my time to wear them). Now I only wear the best quality clothes I can find……enter IH.
Funny, I was ragging the arse out of my motor bike the other day on the way to work ( everyone who owns a bike has to ride it like a dick at least once a week, it’s the law!) and it suddenly occurred to me I was wearing my new IH jeans. Stamped on the anchors and rode the rest of the way like a vicar on Sunday.
Cheers.
Vince.
