      @goosehd Thanks for that. I did that right after posting and found one who hopefully ships to the US. If not, I'll post in the WTB. I appreciate it.

      Hey IH Crew, sorry to bump an older topic. I figured this would be the best place to ask. It's a long shot but do you happen to know any stockists that may have a large still in stock?

      I saw Kersey version of this is releasing on Friday. Is there a date set for this one yet?

      @Giles Don't get me wrong, still a great jacket! I didn't mean any criticism by my comment. Just a personal preference for me.

      Ah man, this jacket looks great but would look even better with a dark brown cord collar, in my opinion.

    • RE: IHJ-49 - Split Steer Modified Type III Jacket - Black or Brown

      Does anyone in here own the Type 3 that 3sixteen did with Schott? Either the Copper Roughout or the Goatskin? I'm just wondering what the weight of this feels like compared to those.

      @Graham That's unfortunate. I love the split steer but it's probably too thick for a California winter.

      Thank you @chucklando for the UHF in just two days. It's a beautiful piece and exactly as described.

      @Bill:

      @thread.and.steel:

      I love a good watch thread. Getting into watches can get you into some trouble quickly though! I recently picked up the Pelagos 39 and a Hamilton Khaki Field to add to the ever-growing collection

      thankfully for my bank balance I’m watch-illiterate, but that Tudor (Pelagos 39?) is very nice indeed.

      Thanks! It’s titanium so pretty light as well compared to steel.

    • RE: Photograph and Camera talk

      @GardenState:

      @thread.and.steel @weftyarn Thank you both. I am not sure what my budget is but it's flexible. Cameras seem to occupy their own stratosphere when it comes to price. Growing up my mom adopted the Nikon DSLR format quickly and even back then I remember the prices being significant.

      Glass over body must mean that the lenses are what I should invest in?

      Not necessarily. I've been using my Leica Q which has a fixed lens for about 5 years now and love it. I take mostly street photography so I haven't needed anything different.

      I agree with @weftyarn. Fuji and Sony are where I'd start.

    • RE: NATO watch strap?

      Does anyone have any recommended locations to purchase canvas/nylon/perlon two piece short straps? The only place I've found is Veblenist but they're $75 each.

    • RE: IHSH-335-BLK - Ultra Heavy Flannel Herringbone Check Western Shirt - Black

      @Bren:

      @thread.and.steel damn good entry UHF choice and sounds like most of our intentions when tasting the forbidden fruit; I took my first bite last year and need to reign it back in -if for nothing else then for lack of space:

      Hopefully you fair better than most with your goals!!

      I was debating between that one and the red buffalo check. I love my black colored clothing though so decided on that one in the end. I'm absolutely going to break my once a year IH flannel purchase already though if I can find the anniversary one that I think you have (second from the left)?

    • RE: Photograph and Camera talk

      @GardenState:

      Would anyone have insight on a good mirrorless camera to get into photography with? A beginner's camera I suppose.

      What's your budget?

      Fuji x100's are always great reliable cameras. I've also recommended Sony Alpha's to friends. Leica's are beginner cameras price wise but there mirrorless options are fantastic.

    • RE: BEST GREY SWEATSHIRT??

      My top grey sweatshirts I've owned are 3Sixteen and Velva Sheen. I really like the thickness and hand warmer pockets for 3Sixteen and the raglan sleeves on the Velva Sheen.
