Here are a few pics of my 801's. I did not get them washed today, too many other projects.
I think it is about time for the first wash of my 801's. It has only been about two weeks of wear but in that time they have accumulated the following (in order received): mud, coffee, charcoal (campfire), oil, manure (cattle), blood, beer (Mt. Carmel Harvest Ale), tree sap.
You should wait for the next DC4 collab. Daniel speek about 25oz with more backrise.
I really like my DC4001's but I will definitely have to keep an eye out for the release of these!
@splattered: I really love the cut, but I would like little more backrise and taper from knee to cuff on them.
Chuck - I agree with your comments and would add making the back pockets fully lined. You might take a look at the Beatle Buster's as an alternative.
The DC4001's are still by far my favorite pair of jeans.
BIG Thank You to upright!!!
I will second that.
Epic sale!
DC4001 (W33)
Thanks again upright!

Just ordered a pair for myself.
I have been looking at a pair of these for a while now.
Does anyone know how waterproof the American Heritage Wedge boot is?
Any comparisons against Danner boots?
For reference I currently wear Danner Tinner and Workman GTX boot.
I have 3 pairs of Danner boot's. One Tinner (discontinued) and two Workman GTX's. I went tts on all of them.
A couple of days ago I was in meetings here.
Today I worked/played in the mud setting up a grain auger.
Best BBQ ribs I have ever had! Central BBQ in Memphis, TN
Thanks guys. I am really impressed with the quality of these jeans and the DC4001 cut is spot on. The biggest problem I see with Iron Heart jeans is that they are going to ruin me from wearing anything less then 21 oz!
Just got my first pair of Iron Heart jeans!
Indiana. We have about 0.5" of ice and 6" of sleet right now. We are supposed to get 8-10" of snow tonight and then it is supposed to drop below 0. Wish I had a pair of X634SX. That would make feeding the cattle much more enjoyable.
Hello from the middle of a blizzard! The U.S. midwest is getting slammed by one of the worst winter storms in years. I have been reading posts and doing research on IH jeans for a while now. I don't own a pair but I hope to one day. Cheers!
