    • RE: Watches - another OCD problem

RE: Two tone lume.  I had always thought of it as the hands being brighter than the numbers, never really considered it two tone.

Now that people have mentioned it, the shade of lume is slightly different.. I think perhaps the lume compound is the same, but being mounted on a metal hand rather than a (plastic?) watch face makes it look a different shade/brightness?

I'm a big fan of founders.. they started cold linked distribution to Perth about 6 months ago.  Loving the all day IPA.

    • RE: Which Cell Phone do you own?

I've had my Nexus 5 since launch (1 year 4 months or so?).  Probably the longest I've kept a phone.  I've had all the Nexuses (nexii?) since the Galaxy Nexus, but the newest Nexus 6 didn't really appeal so I decided to hold onto the 5.  Replaced the screen once (dropped it) and also replaced the battery once (the capacity was down to about 1 hr screen time).  It's still going strong, great all rounder phone.

      Here's my latest acquisition, a Bulova 96A102:

and a lume shot, because it's pretty impressive:

Really enjoying the watch.  Would prefer if it were a bit smaller and mechanical, in keeping with its military style.

I used to own a Seagull 1963 watch.  I still do own it, but the watch face fell off and I noticed too late to save the hands from being mangled.  A very beautiful (and cheap) watch, but evidently not very well built. Stock photos below, because I never thought to take pictures of my own:

    • RE: Hard Drinkers, Lets Drink Hard (Spirits, Liquors and Cocktails)

Favourite hard liquors: American Whiskey (particularly rye) and Scotch Whisky (particularly the Islay malts.

The prize bottle currently open is Lagavulin 16, love that the peat is robust but not obnoxious.

Also love a good old fashioned, and the "classic" cocktails in general.

      @Seul:

For obvious reasons, I already love the Hop Hog…  🙂

(It also gets stellar reviews: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/feral-hop-hog-india-pale-ale/90844/)

I would guess from your last couple of posts in this thread that you're in Belgium? and you can get Hop Hop? I'm impressed! Until recently you could barely get it in liquor stores here where it's from! The brewery, Feral, really punch above their weight.  Hop Hog won a reasonably big Australia wide beer poll, not bad for a brewery in the outskirts of little old Perth. I've got a visit booked in for next weekend.  I'll be sampling their annual "Tusk" IIPA, which I'm really looking forward to:

    • RE: Show us Your Shoes

Here are my Allen Edmonds Park Aves, had them for nearly six months now.  Wear them twice a week to the office (in rotation with Allen Edmonds Daltons), lovely shoes:

    • RE: Chippewa

Had these for about 2 years now.  They've had a coat of Obenauf LP when they were new, and a new set of laces about a year ago, but other than that I don't do too much to take care of them:

    • RE: Show us your boots

I've had these Allen Edmonds Daltons for a little over a year, good for the office and fancier social events.  Wish I got them in a narrower size though:

Also have some Chippewa Apache boots, which are now coming up on 2 years old.  Slightly stained from the raws:

Lastly, the old faithful desert boots:

    • RE: Converse

Owner of a pair of white JPs with the blue "smile" here.  First pair I got were half price, but a little too large.  I put up with them for a bit, but then ended up getting a pair that fit better.  The second pair were significantly lower quality e.g. rougher fabric, one ply instead of two, laces are plastic tip instead of metal tip, rubber more flimsy.  Pretty disappointing.

    • RE: What's your favorite Beer?

My favourite beer is a local one from here in Perth, Australia called Hop Hog.  Somewhere between an American pale ale and IPA, on the sweeter and fruitier side of things:

Don't think it's distributed overseas.. Favourite beers of mine that non Australians may be familiar with are Sierra Nevada pale and Weihenstephan Hefe.

    • RE: IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered

Proud owner here.  Unfortunately they're now on the small side for me since I started going to the gym.. thighs are giving me a bit of the "stuffed sausage" look.  Love them so much I'll probably get them again a size or two larger.  Just need to sell the current pair first..

    • RE: Perth (AUS)

This is not a particularly active thread, but I'd like to shout out Cabinet Noir in Shafto lane in the city (no affiliation), where I bought my IH-666S.  They have a great range of IH and quality denim in general.

    • RE: Introduce Yourself Here

Hi guys.  Been lurking the forums for some time, the posts helped me select a pair of IH-666S (bought from a local shop here in Perth, Australia).  Unfortunately they're a little tight since going to the gym - on the lookout for a replacement pair.  Considering going for a less slim fitting style.. but I like the slubby quality of the denim on my current pair.

    • RE: Where does everyone live?

Hi All.  I've lived in Perth, Australia my whole life.  Proud owner of a pair of IH-666S that are a little tight for me since I started going to the gym.  A slightly larger replacement pair is on my horizon.
