OK hour or so soak and awkward damp wear plus half a day dry time. I think if someone body punches me in this, they'll have shredded and bloody knuckles. 

I've warned my wife that some jacket weirdness will be happening, but she reminded me that the crazy train left the station years ago.

Is there a commonly accepted method for breakin? 21oz jeans wearing all the time seems to work. What about the 526L? Simply wearing it may not have the same effect and feels like it would need some help. Or should I just suck it up and wear it until its time for first wash?
