Could advise me whether a pair of raw xx-005 would give me a similar fit to a pair of 29 inch raw 666s post soak? I'm mainly worried about the hem being too big. A crap measurement at home had my broken in 666s being about 32 inch in the waist and 7.5 at the hem.

Just another wee update on how these are progressing. 9 months in. 4 or 5 washes. this denim really is something else, so beautiful and the tonal range is incredible!

sorry for the lack of activity since i signed up. i have been crazy busy with uni work and dissertation writing.
i love this jean so much that i wanted to show some photos of mine. this is them at the 5 month stage. i wear them every day, everything else just pales in comparison! they've had the standard pre-wash and one wash at christmas. don't judge me for my super rubbish attempts at DIY crotch repairs!

really cannot get over this denim. i've owned edwins, APCs, pure blue japans and tellasons and was pretty sure i wouldn't see a huge difference in quality by moving to the proper, premium japanese brands.
shit, how wrong i was. the texture, colour, smell of these are just on a whole different level.
massive respect to everyone involved in the design and production of these.
so happy with these, i never want to take them off.

i'm from sunny glasgow in scotland. pretty sure i saw someone rocking some IH in the city centre the other day.
personally i've only got one pair of IH, i bought a pair of 18oz 666 a month ago and have been wearing them all day every day since. the denim is unreal, just beautiful. loving the way it is evolving.
