  • RE: IHWE-Build-3 - Iron Heart/Wesco® - 1930's Boss Boot

these look great, so tempted by the brown.

If i were to cave my 12.5D wild ones are great once on but getting them over my heel on and off is a fair amount of effort (the first few times i wore them i had to use plastic bags over my socks to get them on at all). Would you risk sizing up (or going to an E) to smooth the experience?

well it turns out there is still decency in the world, The theft was a genuine mistake and said jacket has been returned to the bar i have been going to since i was 14, a few pints were put on a tab for karma's sake and i hope we can all sleep well knowing my jacket is back in my possession, I'm glad all that excitement was for nothing. This is a rad jacket get one and enjoy

Luckily there is only one other of these in the country so if i see someone with it i will be able to reclaim it, I'm 6 4 and 110 kg not many mess with me these days, Still need to decide if i replace it now though

  • RE: 5 Things I Am Currently Enjoying

@Seul Just saw your recommendation for 8 wired, Soren and Jason the brewers from 8 wired are very good friends of mine I happen to have one of the first batch of iStouts in my fridge right now, all of 5 and a bit years old.

And just got back from the public launch of their hopped berliner weisse called Hippy Berliner due to a miss thumbed text message on a cellphone. If you are ever in NZ look me up most NZ brewers owe me a favour or 2

I applaud your ambition. People stop me in the street to compliment mine.

Went into a pub on Sunday evening wearing my one of these. Hung it on the back of the chair half an hour later when  i got up to leave I picked it up. The weight had pulled the back of the chair off the frame. This is one bad ass jacket.

I thought about taking the back of the chair as a trophy to send in to Giles but decided the establishment wouldn't see the funny side.

Mine arrived a couple of days ago, they look great and feel great when on, Walked a good few kilometers and no hint of blisters.

Getting them on and off takes a bit of a commitment. First time I had to do the old plastic bag over my socks trick. Easing up a bit now but still a ways off being able to throw them on in a hurry in the morning.

http://instagram.com/p/qIuclkgrNC/ for a rather boring fit video, +10 points if you can guess the jeans though.

Wow i might need one of these in my life

How do these compare in sizing to the IH-9527J, I have a 44 which is pretty close to bang on for me.

  • RE: IHVB-05 - The Wild Ones - Iron Heart/Viberg Engineer Boot Collaboration

Based on the Vibram size chart you posted i decided to size up a half size to the 12.5D, I think that will be a better option then going for the 12EE, I look forward to them in the flesh.

  • RE: IHVB-05 - The Wild Ones - Iron Heart/Viberg Engineer Boot Collaboration

Im trying to decide between the D and the EE, I'm fairly confident the UK12 is good for length. Just got some wolverines in a 13D which is good for length but could be ever so slightly wider. Any actual width measurements or advice on these yet?

  • RE: IHJ-17 - Quilted Primaloft Western Shirt/Jacket

How is the fit on this, I tend to be an XXL in your shirts, and wear a 44 super black riders jacket. But i see there is not much difference between the sizing's for xl and xxl on this, What would your recommendation be Giles.

  • RE: The Wild Ones - Viberg/Iron Heart Engineer Boot

The video may well have sold me, would be looking at a 12 - 12.5 uk E, or 46-47 euro. Haven't had a pair of vibergs though how close to true sizing are they?
