I love almost everything about it, but the deal breaker for me is lack of pockets. I actually ride a motorcycle, and as a "rider jacket" you need those hand pockets. Thats where you keep your phone and quick access stuff. The breast pockets are usually just for show, I never use those pockets. Just seems odd to me that anyone would want a denim jacket with only the 2 breast pockets. Before you say "well thats how this jacket style was originally" I know, and my point still stands.

hey giles, how come a small 36 , actually has a 41 inch chest as per the sizing chart?

Mine are 36, and I don't think they're that small. Im 5'10, 145lbs and fits great.

Im surprised someone wanted their wolverines resoled with leather soles, thats the only reason I sold mine. So so slippery and loud.

yeah , the tag says "the flat head winter wear". The sad/weird thing is, I think I bought it off a member of here on ebay. The guy actually had like 12 flat head shirts for sale, all my size, but I only won one auction because I didn't know what size I wore in them. Turns out, the one I won fits perfect ,and no more are popping up on ebay since.

I own 2 flat head shirts. Literally every time I wear the one, people say " wow that's amazing, the fabric is unreal"

I think they're all sold out now, but they were suiting pants in the Wallace and Barnes line from jcrew. Originally 225.00 but I got them on a sale for 125.00. The quality is amazing.

Both of mine were special ordered in E width. I found that 8D fit width wise, but felt so long, so I wold them and got the first pair in a 7.5E on a monday, loved them so much, ordered the second pair that friday.

yeah , either way, its not a taste found in good coffee. I don't think I'd list that if I was in charge of that roastery…

When it comes to body, its either described as silky, or syrupy . When they say starchy, i think they're trying to describe the taste of bread, which I sometimes pick up on. Same thing when roasters describe coffee as "oaky, woody, dark molasses , smokey" thats the roast profile, usually because the coffee didn't taste very good roasted lighter.

Ive never seen a coffee described as "starchy"

Im in Baltimore Maryland. The kalita I think is the best brewing method. Its a flat bottom, so you have a even layer of coffee grounds , with a even bed of water sitting on top. The v60 or chemex are cone shape, so everything is sitting on top of each other, all trying to get through that tip. The kalita is very easy to use too, just keep that bed of water, and you'll be good.

With metal filters, I don't really like the sediment that gets through. I love that the kalita filters are thin, I think the chemex filters are way too thick, and take too much of the good body and oils from the coffee.

I've tasted hundreds of coffees, and this one of one of the most unique, especially for the price (I've had $200/lb coffees) It has a strong walnut flavor, low acidity , similar to grilled grapefruit. It hits on everything you want in a coffee. Good acidity, good body, clarity, defined flavor, some nutty, some floral and sweet. Its really something special.
