I just snagged a large at Dutil Denim in Toronto. They have M, L, XL and XXL in stock. Not on their website yet so give Scott a call.

    • FS: IHSH-422-BRN 17oz Cotton Duck CPO Medium

Western style CPO shirt in 17oz cotton duck canvas that is heavyweight, hardwearing and functional, it will age nicely to reflect the extensive amount of wear it attests to. The CPO style cut offers a little more length in the body than our standard western cut, with additional side pockets.

      Brown tonal stitching

Western-style flap patch pockets with snap fastenings
Single, double and triple needle stitch construction
      Side hand warmer pockets
      Western-style back and front yokes
      Felled internal seams
      Orange bobbin thread
One washed, no further shrinkage is expected

Tag size is Medium. IMG_4381.jpeg IMG_4377.jpeg IMG_4373.jpeg Measurements of the actual shirt taken the Iron Heart way:

      Shoulder 17.5”
      Pit to Pit 21.1”

    • RE: Boot Stretching Experience

Follow-up question for the boot stretch vets…..have you had any experience with vertically stretching to increase the volume of the toe box? I find that the top of my big toe nail is rubbing against the bottom of the toe cap in my Wesco Guildsman. Thanks!

    • FS: IHWE-GLMN-BLK Wesco x Iron Heart “Guildsman” 9D

These are phenomenal boots. Total quality and now sold out in 9D. They have been worn sparingly but do have a few scuffs. Or patina, depending on your perspective! I’m only selling as I have finally (mostly) figured out my proper boot size.

@jkrogsgaard The IHSH-440 looks pretty close. Apparently dropping soon. Only available in Japan though and they don’t ship.

    • FS: John Lofgren Chelsea Timber US 9D

These are beautiful boots. Only worn once or twice but I still managed to scuff them in a couple of places (pictured). My foot is too wide so I’ve made the difficult decision to sell them.

Standard sizing recommendation is one half size smaller than your Brannock measurement.

    • RE: Boot Stretching Experience

Thanks very much for all the helpful feedback. I’m a Brannock 9.5. I think if I had gone down a half size to a 9 the fit would be fine. Unfortunately, I went down a full size to an 8.5. I wish I could blame an online retailer but I tried them on in store. They felt snug but I thought that was part of the deal with these boots, ie. that you need to break them in.

      Thanks fellas!

@northsouthdenimguy thanks very much for your response. I think you are right given how structured the combat boot is in the toe box.

    • Boot Stretching Experience

Gentleman! I was wondering if anyone could offer their experience with getting boots stretched.

My conundrum is that I bought a pair of John Lofgren Combat Boots but the width in the toe box is a little more snug than I’d like. I’ve worn them about a dozen times and I’m on the fence between gambling on getting them stretched vs selling them.

Any thoughts from boot stretch veterans would be most appreciated. Thanks!
