Fir check - this is a L and feels like I could maybe go XL but on the fence. That said, this seems to look good is just a little shorter. What do you guys think?

Got mine yesterday. Really like the cut and fabric, it’s a good looking pair of shorts. Waist was little tight to start but has already loosened up nicely.

I have big thighs and would note these are a little tight in that area. I would expect them to give a little over time which should make fit perfect but FYI.

@Shaun Yeah did that change? Few months ago word was these were following the indigo version so I waited when those dropped.

@Oaktavia No washing machine on this one, just soak? Not there yet on mine but then need to figure out what to do.

Hi all - fit question. Just got mine today and there's pretty comfortable out of the bag in a 34. I'd only want the waist to loosen up slightly, but would not say they're currently tight in the waist. Is that too big? Or do you only get an inch of stretch in the waist if you're actually stretching them out that much to fit? I don't have the 33 to compare but was worried they could be too small.

Again, these are pretty comfy right now just want to make sure they won't end up being too big...

@pechelman Ok thanks so soak first in tub in warm water and then put in washing machine on warm. I couldn’t tell from previous posts if people were just soaking in tub or washing in machine or both. Yeah could use tightening up little all over and lose a little length then should be good. Thanks!

Hi all - I'm looking to get a pair of XHS IB but not sure which cut! My current two pairs of IH denim are the 634 indigo and 888 SBG. I think both look good with the boots. The 888s I think work a little better with the shoes so maybe those are a little more versatile. Obviously it's just a preference but welcome any suggestions on going 634 or 888 for the XHS! (Posting in both of these forums)

I’ve got some wear in with mine now and would like to tighten up with a wash, in particular would like to lose some length. What’s the best way to do that?

Soak, hot wash and then air dry or dryer?

@Oaktavia Hey no not initial soak before wearing (I did that already), but first wash after wearing which I’m coming up to. Was trying to figure out whether to soapy soak in tub or use washing machine. You did former then the latter so was just curious!

I’d like to know how this compares to the new SExIH 19 oz CPO. Any insights?

I have the Sashiko ori and waiting for the striped one to deliver tomorrow. I love the Sashiko version. It’s a little on the long side, I did shrink it following his directions and it definitely shrunk but either way I wear it almost daily it’s super comfortable and well made

Nice let me know how you like the striped one. They look nice. Also wonder about length, generally don’t like shirts that are too long.
