@tk303 It was a bit of long explanation but I've been wearing it lately so it was front of mind so had the thoughts all ready. It can be a bit of a challenge too, getting the sizing right so if I can help that's a good deed. I'm in Australia & it's not easy to find someone that can sew denim or cares for that matter (they do care about getting paid however). I took it to a proper tailor, he wasn't sure, I explained to him how I think he can do it (seriously, well to be fair he usually does suits). Anyway, I got him to remove the bottom hem, shorten the body, then reattach the hem. He did a good job, complete with a few crooked lines to make it look 'handmade'. I think the original hem was chain stitched but that's just about impossible to get where I am so it was a sacrifice I was willing to make & it's not noticeable. It couldn't be shortened any more as this would've affected the pockets. The only noticeable change apart from a better length is the hem button spacing is different but who'd look at that? Good luck.

RE: IH-101J-SR - 18oz Selvedge Denim Storm Rider Jacket - Indigo
@tk303 If it's any help, I'm about 6' & 78kg. Exclusively XL in UHF shirts, as L are too tight in the shoulders & too short in the body & sleeves. In IH denim jackets, I'm L (well, in my 5) which are loose enough & allow a UHF or sweater underneath if needed (although the duck type 3 is snug with a t shirt). I've got N1 & A2 jackets, both in XL because L's were too tight in the shoulders & feel small even with a t shirt. Part of that comes down to style too, I think the N1 looks better a bit looser. So back to the SR, mine's a few years old but sizing looks similar. Again, the L is the right size with a UHF or sweater underneath - the M was too small in the shoulders even with a t shirt. The SR is also a different cut to say, the black 9526PJ, both of which fit perfectly (but different) with a UHF under. However, I had the large SR shortened in the body 1 1/2" because it was just too long for my liking (too much material, felt like a coat). If I could change another thing it would be moving the side pockets 1 1/2"'s closer to the centre front - takes a bit of a yoga stretch to get the hands in there & it's never really comfortable (not sure why they're so far around the sides?).

RE: IHM-39-OLV - Military Serge A2 Deck Jacket - Olive
I’m on the fence, really because I don’t need one…but…here I am. I prefer a looser fit in these kind of jackets. I’m usually XL in UHF’s, mainly for the chest & armpit space as well as arm length but as I wear say, 31 in the 634 & 888’s, there’s plenty of UHF fabric around the waist. I’m mostly L in IH denim jackets though, as they fit snug over a UHF. I thought an M in an indigo N1 would fit, as it seemed on paper it would, but it looked silly on me & so tight at the armpits so actually settled on an XL because it simply allowed more movement & layering & the waist buttons pull it in. IH shoulders could always be a couple cm wider for my liking (however, a couple of my denims are perfect). The N1 arms might seem long at first but they’re a good length, helped by the inner cuff. If there is more armpit space on the A2, I’m an L for sure. Just sayin’, hope that helps.
Update. I’m now an owner of a large, size is snug & just right over an XL uhf (I’m 6’, 78kg, 43’ chest). Anything bulkier underneath & the arms would feel short on me. I do the waist adjusters up tight. It’s slightly less bulky/cozy than the n1, so n1 if I want warmer. Iphone 7 fits in chest pocket with flap closed. Highly recommended, can’t go wrong really but it helps to get the size right.

@ARNC Thanks, exactly what I needed, a regular bifold (say 4x3 1/4) wallet fits. It’d be very unlike IH to make a useless pocket.

@Tobi Thanks, I’m still with the iphone 7, which would fit within but the flap may not do up.

Any chance someone can provide chest pocket dimensions?

100% cotton? Couldn't see the fabric content anywhere.

RE: IH-888S-21od - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - OD'd
My favourite fit because it fits. Most other cuts are too big in the waist & I prefer the higher rise of these. Having said that, is there a chance we'll see a 888 style cut with a slightly (1-2cm) wider hem? Getting tapered jeans on and off in a hurry at the pool or surf is a pain (obviously not everyone's problem). My 634's are close but the thighs are snug.

RE: IHSW-49-BLK - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Hoodie - Black
I bought the burgundy version in large, mainly because the body length of the of the large ihsw-23 measures about the same as the medium 49 (66cm on the 23 feels too short for me at the back - sometimes feels like it rides up over the belt line allowing air in). If the medium armhole is cut higher up, as I think it may be, I think it will tend to ride up higher making the back length feel shorter than the 23, even though the back measurements are the same. I should receive the burgundy in a few days. I've got a Strike Gold hoodie slightly smaller cut than the 23 but has a back length of 69cm which works well for me.

RE: IHSW-49-BLK - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Hoodie - Black
Thanks for the responses. I’m usually XL in UHF’s and L in jackets both with t shirt under (XL in the N1 with room for a thick jumper) but that’s to get adequate shoulder room & arm length…I’m probably slim & 6’, 42” chest & sort of 32” waist, 75-77kg. I have the ihsw23 hoodie but I had it taken in 4” (flat) at the waist to make it usable, but it’s loose around the arms and even though I have to squeeze my head in through the neck the hood could fit a watermelon, which after all that I do like it. I was hoping I could get into this medium 49 so I could wear it under a denim jacket without too much additional material. True the 23 doesn’t have much stretch so maybe I should get an L after all?

@SKT:
Finally got some time to wear and take a couple of pics. I’m glad I went with large as I don’t know if I could even get a medium on [emoji23]. It’s my first loop wheel fleece and I can’t believe how thick and substantial it feels. Totally pleased yet again with Iron Heart’s quality and attention to detail. Love it.
Hi SKT, what do you mean when you say you may not be able to even get into a medium? What would make it so? It looks like there is ample room in the body and you have the cuffs rolled up a few cm’s. You look to be on tall side though (6’+?) seeing the hem at your belt. Is large preferred because you wanted a looser fit? Any info appreciated.

RE: IHSH-267-NAV - Ultra Heavy Flannel Buffalo Check Western Shirt - Navy/Ivory
Good measurements for me, it looks close to what might really be a 'slim fit'. Can't count how many times I um and ah between L and XL then miss out altogether.
