OK, so, I just want to make sure. If I remove the chainstitch with a thread picker, and then send the jeans to a chainstitch hemming service, they can´t redo the hemming?
Whats the reason? maybe the denim retains noticeable holes from the previous hemming? what if I make ir a bit shorter?
Yes, IHUK is perfect, but I can´t send jeans at the moment. What about Iron Heart Germany? Do you guys have any experience with them?
Hello guys, I recently bought a pair of IH-555 21 oz. I wanted to send this to Giles for chainstitch hemming, I have send other non IH jeans in the past to the Iron Heart site chainstitch service and the result is always great, an excellent job.
When I tried a different store it wasn´t the same, even if they are using the same Union Special 43200G. The thing is, with the new brexit limitations, I can´t send the jeans to the IH store.
Would you guys know of other store that makes a great job with chainstitch hemming? I guess I am being a little perfectionist here, but I like jeans to look as good as possible

How would you compare the SL 130 to the SL 100 in terms of stretch and fit? In case you have the Sl 100

Thanks, I changed my mind, I dont want risk with the agressive tights of the 0701. I think ir will be safer to start with the 0201, would you go TTS with this as well?

Not exactly, the brand belts look more refined by the photos, the edges of the belts are sharper etc. But like I said maybe is just the impresion by the photo, that´s my doubt
Brand Belts vs. Custom belts

I have a couple of belts from Unlucky, now looking at photos of samurai, Ih and strike gold belts, japanese brands in general, they seem more refined in the edges. I dont know if this may be a photo effect, any experience comparing brand belts vs. custom like unlucky, hollows etc? do brand belts maybe have a factory machine that cut them cleaner?

When compared to a Levis 501, do the 634 has a lower rise? how much? by the specs , they seem the same but I heard this are a little lower. I am about to order one, and I am about to order a custom belt from unlucky so I wonder if I shoul give a little more lenght to this belt. Previous custom belts I Have I did order them with thr 501 rise in mind

Hello, I got a natural tan belt recently. I heard they get denim stains very quickly and is better to use a leather conditioner to avoid this. On the other hand I also heard is better to use the belt for a while and develop some patina before you apply conditioner for the first time. But if I do that I guess I will get some stains, so what´s the truth about all this and the best way to go?

yeah man, you convinced me. I always wanted to have a black that stays black. I am size 31 in the 634s should I go for the same size? i guess so
what about fading? I really like this model, but do they fade like blue jeans?, I mean, are they going to be like dark grey after some washes? I heard that black denim only loose color in the first wash and then stays the same but I don´t know if this is true
