@SKT in my burgundy cxl with dress toe caps. Had to throw in some IH too (ihj-74)

Traversing the epic (
) slopes in Midwest USA. Temps were in the single digits. IHJ-75 kept me plenty warm.

I was a year late to the party on this one but it’s become my go-to warm weather shirt. Love the lightweight fabric

Such a great jacket. Exactly what I was looking for. Only upside to getting snow today (in March
) was the opportunity to wear this beast.

My slub’s arrived today….damn, I’m in love. The texture, the fit
all exceeding expectations. Appreciate you @Ross for finding the perfect pair with a smaller waist. Thank you.

Don’t sleep on the restock. Pairs quite well with the 1501-crm

Swooped in before the summer sale lapsed and grabbed ih-634D and ihsh-366. I think the pair is a winning combo.
Looking forward to this release. A little ambient americana coming from the other side of the pond
Picked up albums from jazz collective, Resavoir. Posting for your Sunday brunch playlist.
Clear snaps on my 316. I like how it turned out. The brass rims work well with the ‘muted’ yellow.

I recently picked up a pair of these and thought I’d spotlight this thread with a quick review/thoughts on one of my best fitting pair of IH denim. (it’s criminal there hasn’t been a post here in over 120 days)
My first foray into IH bottoms was with the 555 cut and I exclusively bought the different 555 iterations. I prefer a higher front/rear rise and thought the slim tapered cut was for me. I want my waist snug/tight from the drop and let the 1” stretch work it’s magic. The limiting factor for me with the 555 was the waist to knee measurements. Getting a snug waist in the 555 meant too strong of a taper at the knee so I never could achieve the fit I preferred after sizing up. :'(I dabbled with 888 but my thighs never filled out my tag size.
I was pleasantly surprised by the measurements on these. With the 1955s-od I get the rise and tight waist that I want. The thigh comes close to what I would be in the 555, same knee measurement in 634, and a hem that’s comparable to the tapered cuts (bonus| hem is just wide enough for my ihwe-po). The sizing on these check all of the boxes for me.
Definitely recommend and encourage you to analyze the measurements as you might be surprised by the silhouette of this ‘straight’ fit.
Shitty quality but better than nothing fit pics…

Man, I love this jacket! Warmer than anticipated. The perfect weight transitioning from winter to early spring. Color is great. I normally wear my m65 in the spring and this jacket is a great change of a pace, less formal. Glad I was able to snag it. Shocked to find it in the outlet.

I fully endorse the pearl snap pimp job on the 295 @Mizmazzle, obviously! Look forward to seeing the fit pics. I’m going to give this shirt the attention it deserves come fall.
Hey @goosehd , I’m curious to hear about your fit experience with the big buck and pale rider. I’ve combed through both threads and you picked up an xl in both, right?
I also own the big buck (size L) and I’m considering snagging the pale rider too. When I made my big buck purchase I requested a specific measurement so the good folks at ihuk gave me the dimensions of the entire shirt. Below are the measurements for my big buck size L vs the pale rider L. The L big buck sizing seems to correspond more closely with the XL pale rider. Seeing how some are on the fence about sizing, I was curious to get your thoughts. For reference, I’m a L in IH westerns and work shirts. My L big buck seems a tad too big in the shoulders and sleeve length. So I’m wondering if the L pale rider will work. I don’t intend to layer it. Just a t-shirt or thermal underneath.
Appreciate your insights. You look good in both. From my eye, I can see how the pale rider might be more narrow in the shoulders and chest.
Big buck
Shoulder: 18.7"
Length: 30.2"

@Pipeboss713 i think you made the right choice sticking with your M.

Cloudy and 60 degree temps today = first proper wear of my 332. Fit pics…

@SKT boots look good on you. They go great with denim but I mostly wore them with business casual (semi-dress
) attire. Slacks and a dress shirt/sweater. Even paired them with my heavier wool suits. Enjoy them.
