maybe he's back in indonesia for the holidays. i find it hard to even contemplate wearing a mid weight flannel in singapore. i highly doubt anyone sane would be wearing a heavyweight flannel in south east asia. unless he works in an indoor snow centre.

it's really hard to pick an iron heart favorite. it depends on the season and the occasion. if i really have to choose it would probably be my IHB-03 and IH-FW. ever since i've purchased those, i have used them every day.

IHB-03 is just the king of jungle when it comes to belt and the IH-FW is the only IH wallet that is able to store close to the amount of cards i have. six card slots just doesn't cut it for me.

i travel back and forth between australia and singapore. mostly in australia. i always spray it over my boots before i head out. not too sure about snow! but, my boots have been through plenty of storms and a couple of hail. still in great condition. liquid just glides off the surface of the leather due to the silicon coating.

i've been using obenauf's water shield. works like a charm.

yeah, this boots is simply beautiful. i'd pull the trigger for the last 9.5, if i wasn't already buying a IHV-03. can't justify buying two pair! someone should grab the last pair of 9.5 asap!

yeah i was confuse on whether to go 1/2 or 1 size down too, which is why i dropped them an email. i measured my feet on the red wing measurement scale. technically, i should be getting a 10.5 D in most red wings boots. however, I went 1/2 a size down for my iron ranger as I was told it tends to run a tad larger compared to their other boots due to the cutting. it worked out fine for me. i am pretty sure a 9.5 viberg would suit you fine. if you're still unsure,  i guess you could simply just measure your feet, and size accordingly. http://www.shoesfaq.co.uk/measure.htm

i wear a size US 10 D / 28 CM Red Wing Iron Ranger. i emailed viberg for their recommendation on what size to purchase for an IHV-03.

i was told that their sizing is more or less similar. they recommended me to take the same size, which i did.

I guess that is a UK 9.5.

peace guys. i think this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. the way i see it, i am pretty damn sure the durability differences between raw and sanforized is minimal at best, especially if you're talking about denim that is 21 oz and above.

i don't think it's worth fussing over. just wear whatever the hell you prefer! putting the comparison of durability aside, even if raw was not as durable as sanforized, i'd still buy a pair. simply because breaking into a raw pair of jeans is an experience in itself!

i have always been told that raw denim fades better, and molds to your body better. i can't back that up myself as the IH-634S-RAW is my first pair of raw denim jeans, and i have just started wearing it.

either way, it's like comparing apples with oranges. neither is better than the other. least not in my opinion anyway.

i don't use that either, i am gonna try soaking them with some baking soda and white vinegar with a tad of dr bronner's sal sud. will see how that work out.
