Hey y’all! I’ve finally decided to shorten my UHFs to a more appropriate length for me. However, I’m having trouble figuring out how to hem the work shirts due to the side gussets. The westerns have been easy bc they don’t have side gussets. On those, I simply follow the line all the way around. However, because the way the seams “swoop up” to meet each other, I’m struggling to draft the right line. Pic below.
Has anyone had luck altering work shirts and maintaining the overall shape? Should I just give up and accept that the shirt is a little long to maintain the beautiful workmanship?
