14 months, two soaks, no washes.

I purchased these during a trip to London in March 2019 and wore them regularly—but mostly indoors—for almost a year. The fit broke in nicely but they hold onto their indigo and are pretty resistant to wear. A couple months ago I stopped taking such good care of them and started wearing them during a landscaping project, and they are starting to come along. You really have to lean on these jeans to get them to show anything at all.

I can’t believe that with all the crouching, climbing, and kneeling in the dirt they still look so new in the photo. Dirt pretty much brushes off them when they dry so it’s been easy to hold off on washing.

No pics but just wanted to weigh in with my thoughts on these. I picked up a pair during a recent visit to London (Rivet & Hide) and I am really happy with them. I have a pair of IH-1955S and love them but there’s just a little too much volume below the knee to wear them with anything but boots. The 888S fits perfectly, a little less rise and a little more taper but still plenty of room in the seat and thighs. Also loving the 14oz denim, it’s a nice change from the heavier stuff. My best fitting pair of jeans yet. Oh and R&H was awesome, they are good people.

If there has been a comparison between 1955S and 633 can someone provide a link?
I have the 1955S in size 36 and they are great but I'm looking for something a little slimmer and more tapered that will still fit my 13-14" thighs. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I've lost weight since buying the 1955S, they still fit well through the hips and thighs but are pretty loose in the waist and I want to try something more tapered.
also, these are only available at self edge, correct?

Ande Whall Buffalo in a sanforized 13.5oz Okayama denim. I got these two years ago this month but they have been worn hard for maybe 18 months. Before I got my 1955S they were my best fitting jeans. Tough to  fade though, they really hold onto their indigo.
