@neph93 you mean a more biker like look? I am talking here about quality… i wear barba and incotex but i also wear ironheart and samurai jeans... all of them is quality for me. Looking for a sneaker recommendation here cause i know there is a good cultured community here about clothing. I am young and trying to build a good wardrobe both for casual and business. Hello folks! Summer is coming and i realized i never had a pair of the classic white sneakers everyone uses! What high branded and not perfectly white coloured pair would you suggest me?

Edit: becuase there's varying opinions about what's best… For me I would only gently hand wash them in cold water until they are way more broken in.

A lot of people don't care. But if you're going for crisp high-contrast fades I would only hand wash.

no, since they are sanforized unwashed i put them on as soon as arrived to stretch them a bit before a first wash/soak.

thank you for all the suggestions, i think i will go for a hand washing first in the next weeks since they doesn't stink and are not stained.

to be honest, have fear to soil them, for example accidentally when eating (damn tomato spaghettis!) or when going out. So when that will happen i'll need to use the washing machine method as you informed!

got my first pair of IH sanforized jeans and i am wearing them since a week now. Planning to do a first wash (washing machine preferred).

How should i wash them? Any temperature, products, washing cycles, etc… suggested?

Can someone tell me which between the two navy models 1528-1977 and 1528-3013 is darker tone and more similar to black?

As for sizing, I've just got a fairly wide foot and wanted to size up as opposed to hoping they'd give near the ball of my foot. To give you an idea, however, I wear 42 in Buttero, 9.5/10 in anything US sizing, and got the CPs in size 43.

From pics it seems a bit lighter compared to the Deep Blue one. Which one do you have pal? Do you still think this new model would be effective as the old?

hey there, I love Common Projects. In all honesty, that navy is probably my favorite leather they do in the Achilles Low. As for sizing and such, I had to size up as they're a tad narrow. With that being said, i've completely beaten mine and they're still holding up. Many unplanned hikes, games of basketball, or the occasional skateboarding session in them and they're still kicking. ALSO, they're going to look absolutely killer with some IH jeans - especially something with a bit more of a tapered cut.

After some thinking (and some forum useful suggestions) i have decided to buy a pair of leather sneakers, i didn't use them for years and the big monstrous super-hyped ones never attracted me… i would prefer a pair, simple and elegant with no logos, that can be used on every occasion and abuse them.

Don’t hate them but love them a lot less than I used to. I used to try and wear nothing but and was sad when winter came and I had to wear something more robust. I now only put them when I’m on holiday or need going out to play with the kids in summer. After going over to custom boots I don’t even find them comfy anymore.

However i exxagerated... no hate but i just don't like them. I agree they are the best for summer and generally for informal occasions, etc... I also abused them till 20 years old but now i don't know, i feel a bit too out of place with them on... i am talking about the high ones, full of fancy colors and logos...or maybe i am just a bit ignorant about them?

I don't know why but i don't like them... i am not even in my 30 but i see lot of same age friends and colleagues wearing them basically in every occasions (not a work thankfully).. nike, adidas, those kind of pairs. but i just can't wear them anymore, i feel like being a 14 years old kid with them.

In December I went to Rome for a week and had  great time. I have to stop being lazy and post pictures, but after visiting the Pantheon, we stopped for lunch at a café and met 2 lovely British ladies from Scarbrough, who are now communicating with us. I looked up Scarborough, that's way up there in the UK.

iron man - they snug up in the wash for sure, but I am Active enough in them that they stretch back in 3-4 days.
