I feel you. I don’t know about donations but It definitely feels like they have their favorites. With so many competitors you’d think every post would be a different pair but you end up seeing posts of the same accounts. ‍️

@cityofdelusion nice! I’m keeping my eye on that release. I have the cordura version as well and really like the fit. I hope it’s another denim version in the near future. An indigo/black would be killer.

@jiminstitches 2017 if I’m not mistaken. Sounds like they sold out super quickly and no plans for another run.

Recently picked up this jacket that I’ve been looking for and wanting for a few years now. It’s a size bigger than I probably need but I can work with it over a hoodie. It’s a serious coach jacket! A grail item for me. If I ever find one in an XL I’ll definitely scoop it up. In the mean time this will do.

Nice choice!... Essentially wearing the same pair but I have the old version. 555-03. Initially signed up for the re-pair but ended up wearing them during the break. These have been patiently waiting in my closet haha

@XPender i wore 14 oz indigo black last year. It’s a great choice.

These are so good. Wore them last year and now I’m thinking of grabbing another pair.

I wore the 21oz 777 for year 2 and the 14oz 666ib for year 3 of the indigo invitational. I agree with a lot of the comments on here. The 21 felt breathable but it’s still heavy. The 14oz is not as breathable but it is lighter so it felt good in the same warmer temperatures. If I’m going to be in hot weather I think I would go with my 14oz. With all that being said, my 555 16oz feels really nice in hot weather as well. You’ll probably end up getting a pair in each weight in one or a few of your favorite fits like me. You can’t go wrong

@Fades-for-future nice! I’ll wash at least one more time. Maybe two by the finish line. Last wash will be right before the last submission pic. I feel like you can see the details better when the denim is flat after a wash versus when it’s lived in and creased up. Less shadow.

Last two pairs I’ve been torn with when and how much to wash. First washed has been around the 6 month mark and then about every 2-3 weeks in hot water. I always want to wait longer but I love when the color starts to pop after washes. And also the cleanliness thing. Here’s a side by side of new and around 8 washes.

Here’s my year 3 pair after a fresh wash this morning. I’m contemplating wearing a pair of 555-03 I have on ice after the comp. Or maybe save and wear it for year 4. I wore a 21 oz 777 for year 2 and some of those hot days were rough. We’ll see. Worst case, i got a pair of 14 oz Schaefer’s Garment Hotel jeans that will finally get some wear.

This is nice! Might need it! I have the western 248 and love it. Although I felt the linen mix contributed to some shrinkage after a warm wash. Not the case with any of my 10 oz cotton. Also, I too have some buttons pop open on my 5 oz ihsh-169 ind ..but only in the chest since I gained a few pounds haha. Gotta lay off the beers a bit.
