Raw denim addict since 17. My dad used to take my twin brother and me to American Rag on La Brea in LA, which is where the obsession started. Just up the street was Self Edge, where I picked up my first pair of Iron Hearts the IH-666 21oz indigo back in 2010. I still have that pair today, even though they definitely don’t fit anymore. I wore them almost every day for about a year before their first wash, chasing fades and building stacks, honeycombs, and roping. I even tried the old freezer trick to deal with the smell (pretty sure that didn’t do much). The 666 cut is still my favorite IH fit perfect slim straight with heavyweight denim that just breaks in better with time. When I’m not chasing fades I’m collecting vinyl records or getting thrown around in mosh pits at heavy metal shows usually wearing Iron Hearts while doing it.
