they really are great man. i wouldn't worry about the rubbing unless they are too short. my rc's and julians both did that but went away. the rc's were too short or i would still have them

How do those size, what size are you in the trubalance or barrie last in case you own a pair of Aldens?
10.5D. Given these are too big for me, I would say that they fit like an 11 trubalance

Don't get pissed, I know there is a WTB forum, I posted there as well. I am in need of a black pair of boots for work that will probably get trashed in a few months and was hoping to save some $ finding something used, forgotten about, and needing attention. I am down for 9075, 8165, 9213… etc. Mods if this is not cool feel free to "boot it".

I think they forgot to give the boots the close trim? They look the same as all my White's. I thought there should be only one row of stitching. Beautiful boots regardless
I had that boot. was a 10D though and I needed a 10.5D. I also resoled it with a christy, made it much more suited for urban use than the og vibram.
I don't think they made this boot in a D width, or any other Mountain Light for that matter. I have only seen EE
I just have to say that I loved the first lady's boot the Viberg fellas built on the show. Was that her toe nail poking through the toe of her boots? Ew
I was out antiquing with my wife and I ran into an old man rocking some sick White's. He told me there's a store here in OKC that has a huge stock of Whites.
Good chance to try different boots on, but definitely not the best price at $100 more than Baker's.
with my experience with wesco . is you always size 1 up from your whites. period. but again thats just me. and fit is perfect spot on
Ed, do you really stand by this statement? I have never owned Wesco's but have had plenty of White's and I have ever heard anyone make this claim before about sizing up 1 size from your White's size. You have more experience than most with these brands, so I'd like to trust your advice.

were you walking on rocks? I have had two pair of White's with that sole, and I couldn't feel anything through that thick rubber. It was over kill once I stopped working in them, and felt ridiculous walking around town in them.
those are good looking boots, and I think a single leather sole/half sole version would look great to.
How does one find a pair of these Yuketen Paul boots? I can't believe I have never seen these. The Epaulet pair was great

Wish I would have made comparisons with all my other White's come and gone. It could have helped folks figure out fit. Oh well, here is what I have at the moment.
White's Semi Dress 10.5D (dress brown)
heel to toe internal 11 1/8"
heel to toe external 12 1/8"
width across ball 4 3/4"
White's Farmer Rancher 10.5D (black smooth)
heel to toe internal 11 1/8"
heel to toe external 12 1/8"
width across ball 4 7/8"
I didn't realize how nearly identical they are until I did this. The Semi Dress are a bit more roomy, and I don't know why as I think the two boots are on the same last. Single leather sole and celastic toe (which is now soft), on the Semi Dress, single mid sole/vibram 700 and soft toe on the Farmer Rancher. I wear 10.5D in most Red Wing work boots, 1000 mile, etc. Hope that helps
