So glad I stalked this one. Arrived here in Michigan, yesterday, from the UK. Giving it the first wear today. Sizing was spot on with a large for my tall/skinny self. Now to keep the cats from snagging it with their claws.

Hate selfies, but need to be more active here. I’ll find my tripod for the next post. Went for a walk around the yard/property and figure the light was half decent.
Broken Twill Work Jacket(previous (2014? release), 25oz MBBs(non-OG/contest pair 2018?) Sunray Loopwheeled hoodie, Thierry Lasry shades, Ebbet’s Field cap, AdidasXFear of God sneakers(love all my boots, but dealing with a major back issue has me in sneakers more than not) 8-Minus Diver 2.0 watch(rotate with a Marathon GSAR)

RE: HEAVYWEIGHT BOOTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 - 2015posted in Heavy Weight Contests & Competitions
I've mostly been posting on superfuture, I need to get more active here. Here's a few shots of mine HWB-03, from new until now. I've worn them everyday for about a month, two conditionings, and a light polish with kiwi neutral. They've taken on an unintentional two tone look, that I can't explain. (But I like it.) They get shoe trees, and a solid brushing every night. They are my favorite, most comfortable boot ever. The double mid soles add a lot to the comfort and support. I've averaged 12-14 hours of wear each day. I'm going to Atlanta, and will be on my feet walking a show hall for 3 days. I'm not even worried about my feet hurting.

They even got a bit bloody at an accident scene(I wrote about it as my "denim angel" challenge entry on superfuture, pic is from the local paper…I'm in the green t-shirt...I stopped by the victim's workplace to see if I could find out how he was doing(I hope he kept his left foot, as it was partially amputated in the crash)

How they are as of last night's polish and brushing:

Thanks…I'm very pleased with them. I went back and forth between options, and went with my first choice, and I'm glad I did. They are very comfortable. The high arch will take some getting used to, but my foot doesn't move, plenty of room, no pain. They are going to be perfect for two years wear!

Yes, natural CXL.
I'm not sure what I'll use on them, maybe obenauf's. I've always just used the Redwing boot conditioner, and haven't had an issue. I switch it up for these.

Great fit and an Emerson fan too I see!
Yup..my CQC-5 fits the knife pocket on the MBBs perfectly! My old school custom CQC-8 will see a lot of pocket time in these jeans too, and I'll be wearing them to the Blade show in Atlanta next month.

Awesome fit, HV! What did you hem at?
Thanks….these are simply the best fitting jeans, ever. As to the hem question....no hem, those are the longest length they had in a 32! (Paula promised to send me whichever pair measured longest, which I greatly appreciated) I'm tall and have freakishly long legs....if I undo the single cuff, I can kind of get stacks going..kind of

Agreed on the coin…yours looks like a Morgan from the last year of minting. Are the wings on the eagle spread, or folded? There were Peace Dollars from '21(first issue)
Here's a few of my favorite coins....Walking Liberty Half, Peace Dollar(note the difference in the "crown or tiara"), and my Order of the Black Shamrock challenge coin:

Also, my favorite custom folding knife fits in the knife pocket like it was made for it.

Gave mine a 20 min soak in warm-hot water, with slight agitation. Minimal shrinkage, maybe 1/4-1/2" in length, less that in the waist/thighs. I didn't lose much indigo at all in the tub, just a slight blue tint to the water. I'm not sure how much starch came out since:

I'm just glad I left all but the top button done up,just getting that one buttoned took some effort.
Fit is great. I was concerned about the taper, but it is so slight I don't even notice. Leg opening is perfect with boots IMO, which is a very good thing since I'm expecting my custom White's Bounty Hunters soon. I'll try and post some fit pics if I can get the wife to help, but since she was teasing me about photographing my belts last night, I can't promise she'll cooperate.;)These are already my favorite pair ever. I'm relatively new when it comes to awesome denim, I currently own a pair of dc4001s(awesome), Roy RS03(love those too), and N&FxMomotaro Skinny Guys(fabric is really nice, but I really only bought them for the long inseam..should have done more research back then.) Once the MBBs settle, they'll be perfect.
