Inseam: 32”“This series uses cotton called raffi, which is made by reusing "false cotton" that is discarded during the yarn manufacturing process.The raffi yarn made with a ring spinning machine manufactured in the 1950s has the same shape as the uneven yarn that was naturally created at that time. The American cotton called "raffi" has a track record of nearly half a century as the most natural uneven yarn among the cottons handled by Taisho Spinning around the world.A ring spinning machine manufactured by Ishikawa Seisakusho in 1953. The so-called "Ishikawadai" has a third of the rotation speed compared to the latest spinning machines, and its production efficiency is incomparable.In addition, while many spinning machines are now computerized and operate with one touch, the Ishikawadai requires a lot of labor and frequent maintenance, such as changing the gears each time.On the other hand, it is possible to create natural yarns like uneven yarns, and it has the characteristic of being spun by low-tech machines that do not rely on computers and are close to the human hand.DENIME asked Taisho Spinning to create a natural uneven yarn using "Raffi" cotton and "Ishikawadai". It is the first time in the world that Raffi is made on a ring spinning machine in Ishikawadai and woven into denim fabric. This uneven yarn, which is carefully made at the same walking speed, has a completely different shape from that made by modern spinning machines.”

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I can't find any info on it. What is the correspondence between number and letter sizes on jackets? Is a "40" a Large or Medium, for example?

RE: IHSH-140 - 11.5oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Shirt/Jacketposted in Shirting
Yeah, I have a few too, but this shrank. Loving the fit now…hope it doesn't stretch too much.
@adam313:
^^I have six IH overdyed products, including an ihsh-141, and none of them have shrunk, ever. Something must be off

RE: IHSH-140 - 11.5oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Shirt/Jacketposted in Shirting
My IHSH-141 shrank significantly after a hot soak and some time in the dryer. Almost sold it because it was too big, now it fits like a glove. The IH page states, "The overdying process removes all shrinkage, so no shrinkage to be expected"
