Very intrigued buy this one, so a really dumb question, what makes this material different to corduroy?

I think the oil would be better to soften leather as it absorbs in easily, that said, if you take a hair drier to the leather after using the Lp it soaks in very pretty much the same. I actually like to get the lp warm first before use.
I have also applied a very thin coat to an Irvin jacket without any issues, don't think the oil would be suitable for that at all.
