Hello folks and a Happy New Year.

I bought a pair of Lee 101 Lot 49's a few years ago which came with a bar of Otter Wax for application. My denim conservatism kicked in and I never applied said substance. In retrospect, I'm a-wondering if it might be a useful protection against getting the kinda ingrained filth that requires an unhealthy hot wash ? Anybody tried the stuff on denim and can testify as to the outcome ?

I'm prepared to do this but am already running up against the challenge of finding an available cameraperson at a mutually convenient time/place. "I'm not getting thrown out of a restaurant" being the arguably reasonable objection of one friend.
