    • RE: IHWE-FP1 - Iron Heart Int'l x Wesco® - 7" Burgundy Smooth-Out Boot "Foot Patrol"

Greeting all!  I hope everyone is staying safe and sound through these crazy days..

Wondering if anyone has any sizing insight on these in relation to Brannock sizing?

I'm a 12 in a Brannock and in RedWings.  Just not sure if these particular Wesco collabs run any smaller?

      Many thanks for any insight!

    • RE: IH-634S-RAW - 21/23 ounce raw straight cut

Here’s a look at some OGs.  I picked these up at SE sometime after Christmas in 2011.

Countless wears and a reasonable share of washes & air dries later, it’s finally time for some triage.

The day I decide to rid myself of what very few, very modest earthly possessions I have - this single pair of jeans will be the only thing that I keep.

    • The Godspeed Company / Shop Rag Shirt

Their first run is just about cleared out, but have a look and keep an eye out for the second one.  (I didn't tell you this, but they may even be considering a different color in the future…)

I picked one up and Chris, the co-owner, was awesome enough to meet me for a local try-on.  I'm usually a Large in IH - and I grabbed an XL in this, but I could have totally worn the Large for just a touch more tailored fit.

How they built the fabric and the shirt itself is pretty insane and at first wear, it already feels like I've been wearing it for months.  They triple-weaved the weight of the shop rag... It has a really unique weight and feel and I'm anticipating it breaking in beautifully.  Check it out -

Blasted!  I was forced to sleep the economic sleep on this -

Giles, is there any chance that there's any remaining black XLs floating around the Far East….?

Yeah dude!  Glad it made the trip ok.  THAT'S how it's supposed to fit.  If you stop eating small mammals for a few weeks you could even get a hoodie underneath it!

Apologies to your bro' - Wear it in good health -

    • RE: IHJ-530 - 12oz Wabash Striped Engineer Coverall Jacket

I've had one of these for a bit but it's naggingly been a bit too big for comfort.  It's great over layers, but other than that, it's just too big.  So, I'm finally thinking about letting it go.

It's an XL.. it's gently worn and has a ton of life and work left in it.  PM me if you have any interest.  OR if you have a large that you'd like to swap.. that would be even better…

I'll post properly with pics in the sale section in a bit / just want to see if anyone out there is even interested..?

    • RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Hey G - I know the answer to this is probably 'it's not worth the effort' - but do you think there'd ever be a possibility that the crew could churn out some throat latches for the pea coat?

I've been trying to wrangle one off of a used pea coat, but they always turn into a $40 + pursuit because I've yet to be able to pluck one by itself, without having to buy the full coat.

It sounds like small potatoes, but in my experience last winter, the ability to lock up the stand up collar would make this pea coat completely impenetrable.  It tends to flop around in the wind.

I'm going to continue to look to retrofit something.. maybe I'll just have someone stitch up some denim.  But figured I'd drop the thought..

    • RE: IHSH-62-IND - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo

I just got my -62 in my hands.

Maybe it's been said once, maybe it's been said a hundred times.

If I had to sell my collection of IH wares, and save only one - this would be the one - hands down.

If, God forbid, my apartment was on fire, and I had to save what meager, few worldly possessions I own - this shirt would be tops on the list.

Raw indigo western… blanked lined western... chambray...  They are all off-the-charts.

But this wabash western.  The weight.  The color.  The pattern.  It's beyond anything I've put on before.

Melodrama, maybe.  But it's not.  This is the sickest shirt I've ever had in my hands.

(With ALL OF THAT SAID:  This wabash + blanket lining + shacket pockets:  What!!?!!  That would render completely meaningless any subsequent shirt ever produced.  But that's a search/story for another thread.)

Bravo, Haraki and the IH Crew.

      I'll shut up now.
