I gave mine an initial 2 hour hot soak followed by cool rinse in the bath tub. I wore them for about a week and was surprised at how baggy they still were, so gave them hotter soak with some detergent for 4 hours followed with cool rinse. After they dried fit was what I expected. I’m sure there’s still a little more shrinkage but I think that got most of it.

About a month of wear on these. Natural CXL

No this is my first pair. Good to know, thanks. I’ll keep feeling them out with different socks and try and inset if needed. The flip flop analogy is accurate.

I picked up a pair of devil’s causeway engineer boots in 9.5D. Sizing overall feels great. Boots are a little challenging to get on and off but not terrible.

There’s a ton of heel slip, though. Is that normal? Something that works itself out with wear? If it’s not normal for then I think this last might not be for me. Thanks for any advice.

I picked up a pair from mild blend. Looking forward to getting these going this fall/winter.

I had these MP service boots in natural cxl for sale and no takers after a couple months, so decided I’ll keep them and start wearing. Here’s what they looked like from the factory:

Last night I oiled them to help with the break in. I have whites boot oil and apply liberally:

Then this morning gave them a good brushing and they are ready to go:

Thanks guys. Yeah I plan to wear it in, I love the development others have posted and have wanted a black denim shirt for a while now.

I’m 5’8” with a larger chest, I ended up going with a large, but it is a little tight. I tried an XL but the sleeves and body were way too long. I stick by my initial thoughts when I saw the measurements that this is a tall and skinny guy shirt. The denim is super nice, I plan to wear this a lot this fall/winter.

No advice here, just a picture of me with my four kids from my 37th birthday last week. We were on vacation in the thousand islands, New York. Fwiw I will say I’ve felt tired for about 11 years now since my first was born.
