Any recommendation of soak/washing inside out? Or does it matter?

Figured i'd shoot some photos. Almost 6 years in my primary rotation.

I've been tempted multiple times over the years to add to my collection of jackets but had not pulled the trigger until this one came along. My IHJ-72 type ii, which ive been fading since it came out in 2018 will now take a back seat to this type i.

Very excited to see how the fading varies between both!

Just wanted to share a photo of this jacket after several years of wear. Each photo has a bit of variance in the exposures and I removed the background. Still fairly difficult to capture as even these shots dont accurately capture the depth of the contrast. I'm very happy with the way this has evolved over the last few years. As you can see, the jacket itself still has plenty of deep indigo with nicely pronounced highlights.

Was initially bummed i'd missed on the 35's. Had thought about picking them up from DE but fortunately one came in stock today and i managed to grab it.

Looking forward, have not bought a new pair of IH in over a year! My couple of pairs on rotation have gotten me by.

I havent logged on in a while. I should have stayed out! 

These look great! definitely looking forward to picking up a pair.

The shirt's been seeing mostly office wear, which is why its been such a slow fader.

I will usually spot clean the area with warm water and a wash cloth.

During my last blunder I spilled a considerable amount of soy sauce on my pant leg. It helped that it did not absorb right away and that the denim is dark enough to not be noticeable. I was fast enough with initial clean up that it didn't seep through to my skin and when i got home i dabbed it with the warm water/cloth and its as good as new.

This was particularly maddening as it had only been 2 months since they had a wash and I wasn't about to wash them again so quickly.

@neph93 @AdamJ thank you for the insight. I'll give it a go when it gets to that time.

Quick question on UHF.. Do these "relax" or give a little more with a soak/wash?

The reason being is my 237 is a bit snug despite getting the correct size. I had a similar concern with my indigo kersey but after soaking/washing it, it's gotten a lot more forgiving. Does UHF behave similarly?

Washing/soaking is usually not necessary. This particular shirt has already been one-washed.
