RE: Random questions to which you seek an answerposted in The Resource Centre
@palmer These need to be rehemmed. Please bring them back (or email us for shipping info) and we'll get them right for you. Sorry about that.
I have a question about chainstitch hemming. I noticed that the pair of 634-XHS that I had hemmed by Franklin and Poe is different from the hems that IHUK and Indigo Proof have done for me. On the pair from Franklin and Poe the stitching goes down to one thread across the inseam and the others don't.
Is this a difference in technique or should I have these re-hemmed? It seems like with wear the hem will start to unravel. Pardon my ignorance!
Here is a photo of what I'm talking about. The top pair is the XHS from F&P and the bottom is from IHUK.

RE: IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirtposted in Shirting
I've hesitated for too long and my size is sold out. I'm just not sure how this one will work on me yet…I love the shirt itself but not sure about it for me. Guess there's only one way to find out. Looks like there's still some available from the other vendors.
Yep, some shops have it. F&P will likely get their shipment soon too. I’ll be bummed if I don’t get one but I’m sure I’ll get over it. I still got my eye on the red ombré and the moleskin cpo.

Are shipment has arrived! Just not all online yet. We've got M-XXL in the 207.

RE: IHJ-69 - Corduroy Modified Type III Jacket - Black and Khakiposted in Jackets
Finally got a chance to try on the black one at SELA yesterday - they only had an XL in-store but validated I need to stick to my usual XXL.
Downside is that I walked out wanting khaki. Franklin & Poe is sold out of XXLs (unless you have any squirreled away somewhere @andrewfnp !)
Called Canoe Club and their shipment literally just arrived today. Alas they didn't order anything larger than an XL so looks like I'm out of luck…

Sorry, we brought in only one XXL and was the first to go!

RE: IHJ-69 - Corduroy Modified Type III Jacket - Black and Khakiposted in Jackets
@tmg Canoe Club and Franklin & Poe are the 2 remaining US vendors that are supposed to be carrying the khaki variant. I haven't seen them put them up for sale yet but if you're still looking to nab one it might be worth contacting them.
Andrew from Franklin & Poe here. We just received our IHJ-69 khaki shipment today and is live on our website here: https://franklinandpoe.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/iron-heart-ihj-69-14-wale-corduroy-modified-type-iii-jacket-khaki

RE: Franklin & Poe - Philadelphiaposted in Iron Heart Retailers
We're good buds with Christian from Left Field. We just did a trunk show with them, and he's a Philly guy too… Love what they're doing and we'll be bringing in more for sure

We're definitely expanding our IH selection at the end of the Summer, early Fall. Wasn't sure how all the heavy stuff worked in the heat and humidity… (Those Pronto guys are hard core!)

Franklin & Poe - Philadelphiaposted in Iron Heart Retailers
Greetings from sunny Philadelphia!
My name is Andrew and I own and run a small boutique in Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia called Franklin & Poe. Since our shop has been open, we’ve met a ton of cool denim enthusiasts in Philly and surrounding areas. We’re honored and excited to be an Iron Heart stockiest. We’ve brought in some Iron Heart staples to start, and will be adding more throughout the year. We’d love to hear your thoughts on what you’d guys like to see here.
Next time you’re in Fishtown, please stop by. We’re open Wednesday through Sunday and always have some beer and bourbon on hand. We also ship worldwide, and have super low shipping rates for the lower-48.
