Awesome. I keep on seeing photo’s of the oil tan and noticing it being lighter than it used to be. It is why I chose it for my next pair. I’ll know myself within a few days, but I have a childlike excitement every time I’m waiting on a new pair.

I feel your pain. Dropped off a pair for a resole yesterday, cobbler told me it'll take 4 weeks. Now, on day one, I'm already impatient. I mean, I'm not walking around barefooted, but still…[emoji1782]

Lovely boot @Andreas1965 . Is that the standard oil-tanned brown rough out? I ask because I have a pair of Boss in that that should arrive tomorrow or Monday. I love the colour of yours.

Hi, they feel like the standard oil tanned. I have a pair of those and the leather seems identical.

I of course couldn't resist.  Sweet boots these are. 
Unfortunately the DHL guy gave me a sleepless night on Friday.  Online tracking said they're delivered,  but when I came home there weren't any boots and no notification in my mailbox.  As it already was 10 pm I couldn't go check with the neighbors…
My concerns that DHL just dropped them somewhere and I had to ring each and every neighbor's doorbell were unnecessary,  Saturday morning at 9 my landlord handed me over the desperately awaited box.

Couldn't be happier,  I wore them all day on Saturday and Sunday and they seem to be super easy to break in. Guess they will outlast me with ease.

Different to Duchesse de Bourgogne (which I do like), a drier, altogether smoother experience. I wasn't sure at first but I enjoyed it.

Finished yesterday evening off with this three year old bad boy. Very. Nice.

Oh,  the Bourgogne de Flanders… I have 12 of them from 2012 sitting in my basement.  One of my favorite beers.
Must say I totally dislike any bitterness in my beers,  so the hoppy IPAs give me nothing.  For me it's the Flemish Reds.  Duchesse de Bourgogne,  Rodenbach Grand Cru,  these are the ones.
