When did these become extinct?

I picked up a pair of these, new no tags on the bay. Perfect size for me, very nice weave (silly price, a bit hens teeth?)

Not really a fantasy fan usually, but I was recommended Robin Hobb's "The Assassin's Apprentice" recently and it's excellent.

If you like Heinlein-style space opera, I recommend Elliott Kay's "Poor Man's Fight" series. He also has an excellent series of urban fantasy X (light) eroticism novels…

If you like a light Space Opera Neal Archer has written some fun stuff (I read them all early lockdown).

When I was younger I really liked Roger Zelazny, his Amber books were fun but Lord of Light and Creatures of Light and Darkness had much more depth. Short stories were good too (A Rose for Ecclesiastes)

Talking of which currently re-reading the exact same edition of Mr Pirsig's famous work. 41 years after the first and I still get lots from it.

That drops out with wear as the denim softens and moulds to your shape and movement.

I am interested in the boiling that you and Filthy talk about. I really like my indigo 888 25oz! only thing is the slight Riding breech look at the upper thigh (not a big problem but I know you had this too)

Hi @neph93  (sorry), it is an Aero Dustbowl, and thank you.

The colour and texture are glorious. My preferred colour for a leather jacket would be that kind of brown, but I feel my preferred styles work best in black. Hence I have yet to take the plunge.

As with most of my pics the colour is much better in RL. It has started to develop breaking in tones (just like a pair of IH) which add to it's depth and richness. It is also starting to show it's grain.

I would normally tend to the black (and steel) choice as well however a good mahogany gives a lot more flex (now that someone has pinched my flowing black locks and replaced 30% with this grey stuff).
