I also prefer the 555 cut over the 301 cut.  They are very similar but the 555 has a slighter longer rise with a slightly tighter top block in my opinion.  Both are great though and the SBG denim looks great.

These look awesome.  I personally wish these were in the 555 cut which I think is the best slim cut for larger waist sizes.  For my size (36) the thigh measurement of 12.5 would be very tight.  I think you need pretty slim thighs for a 36 waist to make these work.  I'm sure these will be great for some.  I have some older 19oz overdyed Iron Heart-Self Edge colab jeans and the color looks great on those so I would expect these to look amazing as well.  I think the combination of the lighter 14oz denim and the overdyed process sounds like a great idea.

For larger sizes I find this the best cut for someone looking for a slim fit looking jean.  I think the added rise really helps.  Personally I wish these were made in more denim styles.

What does pimping the shirt mean?

Interesting feedback on the size 36 IH777.  I have the 555-01's and the 555-03's both in a size 36.  I'm 6'3" so the long length works for me.  Looking at the specs on the 777's they look so close in numbers to the 555-01's I wonder if I would even notice a difference.  Do you think the 0.5 in the rear rise and 0.4 in the knee would make a big difference?

Any reason for the higher price on these compared to the other 21oz models?  Is this just a simple case of historical prices not being changed on the established models?

Will stand alone shops be getting these?

Will these be sold in Japan?

If my 301s had a higher back rise, by just an inch or two, I would be in jean heaven! They are great in any case. Enjoy.

You should try the the 555-01, I believe the rise is a little longer than the 301's.

Thanks Giles. I may be leaning towards the 555's… don't like the idea of crotch "bunching" that has been pointed out by a few members for the 301's.

I have both the 301's (old version) and the 555-01's in a size 36 and have never had any crotch bunching issues.  I like the 555-01's a little better because they are tighter on the sides of the upper block (hips) and have a slightly longer rise.  In general both are comfortable for me.

555's in this denim with all tonal stitching and silver hardware would be really nice.

This 777 cut looks great from the measurements.  The shorter rise compared to the 555's would be my only slight concern.  I'm a size 36 and I usually like to keep the front rise above 11 inches.  The slightly roomier thigh and more taper below the knee compared to the 555 sounds good.  Still would love to see you guys do an indigo denim jean with tonal stitching and silver hardware.
