Can someone explain to me why I shouldn't trim these off? I appreciate the fact that my IH chambray is chainstitched, but I am not a fan of the runoff stitching. I have had a few people tell me that I have threads hanging, and I've dodged explaining them why because I really don't know (I did explain the whole chainstitching thing to my wife, though).
So…any thoughts?

Doug, haven't been around here much lately! My 2.5 year old 634S are to the point where they aren't really okay for office wear anymore (not to mention the impending crouch blowout), and thus I'm back to see if I should try something else or just get some more 634S. You should be happy to hear that the old pair bears a nice Strider PT stamp as well. Heh. I've been thinking about a new knife too…can't make my mind up. ZT 0550 (Hinderer on the cheap), CQC-7/8 (CQC-7 is probably the first knife I lusted after as a teenage boy scout), SJ75...
MikeC, I saw your post soak W35 measurements, thanks for taking those. They will definitely be instrumental in my decision.
Does anyone have W34 post soak measurements available? Slightly worried about these being a bit slimmer than a standard 634S, so I may want to upsize to W35. Thanks.
