i am taking off the 2nd of april for a week long trip to So Cal. hope to see family and skate around familiar neighborhoods. Most of all, i am excited because it will be down there where i get to enjoy SPRING BREAK! hahaha

So I posted my recent S0500XX pics (from Monday) – with Lacy and the white v-neck tee -- on Sufu's WAYWT. I got neg-repped (RED square) by "sunkenshoes". His (her ?) comment :
"yo for real? you like like a dyke,no pun if you are actually."I ignored it, but what a moron ! I can't believe that such hate exists in this world. First of all...it turns out that I'm gay but are straight women barred from bald heads ? What about Iman, David Bowie's wife ? There was a long period of time where she openly rocked The Bald, though now I think she has hair. Moreover, what if I were a cancer-survivor ? (Don't worry...I don't have, never have been diagnosed with cancer).
The point is -- I'm shocked that people like this even exist. It wouldn't surprise me if this "sunkenshoes" fucker is a racist pig too.
Hey, I totally understand your preferring hair on my head to not (Beats, dead openly said "Shubz, please grow your hair back"). That's totally cool. Beats and dead were just being honest...and I welcome that (they're in good company with many, including my mom and sister) -- they didn't express judgment and hate, and nobody on this forum ever does.
When shit like this happens, I get sad. Sad for humanity.
Edit : If it matters, I got tons of compliments on those photos too...positive reps (green squares). Like Giles said, don't let "one bad apple" ruin the whole bunch.

Simon, although the people ragging on Shubs were off, I think the comment about your shoes is on point. If you wear a size 12 (Which I do), a lot of White shoes will make your feet look even bigger. Black is everyone's friend!

Thanks for all of your support guys – regarding SuFu sunkenshoes' hate comments. I realize now that negs on SuFu can't be taken all too seriously.
BTW, whatever you say Simon-LA but guess what ? I'm wearing my Sugar Cane Okinawas today (a mere 14.5 oz) and I love them as much as I love my Iron Hearts. No lie. I seriously do. I'd just as easily buy another pair of Sugar Cane (Hawaii) or a heavy-weight pair of Samurai (21-oz or up) and be quite happy -- yes, while spending $300++ -- and I will love them as much as I do my Iron Hearts.

Matter of social standing, and professional appearance representing a company that deals with huge amounts of money. Even in the US I believe the guys at the big brokerage firms are supposed to dress the part. It's a mindset that if you are shifting millions you shouldn't be dressed like a slacker or common worker.

the main thing about the shirts were that, imo, the fabric is too heavy and not suitable for a shirt - didnt look good when you rolled up the arms. which i didnt like cuz i almost always wear my shirts like that. i dont like press buttons on anything that isnt a denim shirt either. now they might use press buttons cuz of the heavy fabric, guess they would be harder to button up otherwise. and the jeans were, well, sanforized and i didnt like the rivets either. so yeah, mostly personal preferences. nothing wrong with the quality!
