Being an uncle is awesome! You get to be the fun guy; you play with them, make fun of their parents to get a laugh, get to play with toys without looking like a weirdo and all sorts of other fun stuff. Then, when you get tired of them (or they get cranky, stinky diaper, whatever) you give them back to their parents and walk away.

All of the good stuff, none of the crappy stuff.

Enjoy it, because being a parent is a verrrry different ballgame.

Here are YouTube clips of my 12-year-old nephew "Ben" playing and singing to guitar. The kid is incredibly talented – I'm sure you'll agree ! PS. If you're wondering why the kid turned out white, it's because my sis married a white dude ! I've mentioned my bro-in-law before on this forum. He's tall and skinny...kinda has a physique like Giles, LandoCal, Simon-LA, etc...but he wears Levis 501s strictly.

Simon, he's only 12 but girls are already kind of going nuts over him. He's in advanced Jazz Band already…with high schoolers. I'm very proud of Benny Boy.
