I'll rephrase that.  I went to the beach for some "casting practise".  Try as I might, it was an epic fail.  My buddy had 3, I had zilch…G

Well, any time fishing is better than any time working, no matter what the results!  A hip flask full of Knob Creek also helps.  I've got 16 working days left until I retire–then I'm taking a trip to catch (not fish for) Steelhead on the Middle Fork of the Salmon.  No crank baits this time--it's the old Sage rod and reel and we'll see what's hatching.  If I can't decide, I always opt for the "Wooly Bugger", mostly for the name, of course...B

Cosmo, I'm off fly fishing for Bone Fish in a few weeks time.  I will be taking my Sages.  At some point I will use a Turd Fly, mostly for the name!  G

Just dropped Mrs G off at the Ferry, she is away for a couple of days on a business trip.  As she walked away, I noticed that she was sporting a nice shiny new Indigo Messenger Bag.  Upon investigation back at the office, one had disappeared from stock….G
