I arrived at Iron Heart ownership in a similar fashion. I stumbled upon the forum doing research about the 666XHS and while I appreciated everyone's input, I did not see myself contributing in any way. Of course, that only lasted until I actually got my hands on the jeans.

I think the bottom-line is that once you experience the quality and construction, you feel compelled to share.

And for me, it was the quality of the 666XHS that opened my eyes to the rest of the product line. Basically, I came here for one pair of jeans, but ended up being a fan for life. I've since purchased four IH shirts and I'm looking for another pair of work / beater jeans and that's since the beginning of December (2013!).

Yeah I can already tell I am in trouble. My wife likes them too much to turn back now (being honest Momma has final say) and I can already feel some mercy or should I say flexibility in them. I could easily see becoming a stark raving zealot and I would usually consider myself level headed. I wish I could wrap my 3 year old in this stuff, it might not keep her from ending herself, but would certainly cut down on the amount of hospital bills incurred from the little daredevil.

I can't build enough furniture or scratch enough off the honey-do list to compensate for my recent purchases as is, I don't want to think of what she might dream up in order to offset one of these. Although, my annual splurge is within sight and I gotta say I know where much of it is going.

Yeah IH is a life changer. Makes you re-evaluate everything, always better for the long game. It's like an awakening of a form of consciousness.

Given that I pretty much have always hated clothes from box stores, I don't think I had far to go.While it's not quite comparable, I still wouldn't consider some of the pieces I have from Pendleton, Woolrich, and other vintage labels as cheap. If thisis hell, then I'm happy to have my passport.

Thanks for the welcome. Quick question though, is it faux passe to NOT post pics here? Pictures of me don't get snapped a lot, so I know it would take a more concerted effort to participate like so, and I don't know if I want to start asking the wife to snap pics of my ass. Not sure I want to get into explaining it all to her.

It's not faux passe, not at all :).

(FYI I mostly use self-timers on iPhone and Camera for shots. It took me a few months for the Mrs to slowly get into it, a year later she's got 2 pairs of IH jeans herself, and often offers to take my photo now)

Thanks, it would be so much easier to ask the misses around here just due to timing. If the misses isn't around it means I am likely flying solo with my kids, and you don't want to even say picture around my daughter, let alone get a camera out.

I am, there is a lot to take in around here, which is likely feeding the itch. While I know she isn't IH ready, I plan on gearing up my misses as well (she's game) so it's good to see others that might be able to help there too.
