Thank You lads! I have some more stuff to share but I need to do some colour grading so it looks proper.

I’m now en route to Tajpej (so nice that there is WiFi onboard) with 1,5h delay and crossing fingers that I catch my flight to Munich.

The resort was ish.......It's at the Eastermost gates to Raja Ampat, so very busy dive sites. And I hate busy. Had some good dives and saw some cool stuff, but if all I had done this trip was that, I would not come back.

BUT, the live-aboard is amazing. The dive boss man (Cedric) is amazing. He is outstandingly knowledgeable and hilariously funny. I have learned so much from him already in the 36 hours we have been on the boat. The organisation of the whole operation is as slick as fuck.

I am seriously loving this boat. And the food is about a bzillion times better than at the resort.

The only way it could be better is if the guys put our wetsuits on for us, they take them off which is so lux.

Spent some time talking to Cedric today and he has recommended a "resort" that is 8 cabins in an area with no other resorts (and you need yet another flight to get to it). Speccing that at the moment, and will probably tie a week or 2 there with another 10 day trip on this boat in the same area next Spring.

Tonights view as some of the others get ready for the night dive. But I have done 3 hours already today and I needed a beer

@Giles loving every bit of your report! My experience was exactly the same: boat better than the resort. The night dive is something I would not skip, it’s crazy what other animals were coming out. Please go for the next one.

I have to admit that I must go back, very few places had such an impact on me, so after the cold water, wreck dives in Narvik this summer I'm thinking about going back to Raja somewhere after Christmas next year.
