Scuba anyone?

Rudimentary marina to start off a diving safari. I took the first photo after arrival and the second one after getting out of bed. The light of the day has not improved things.

Henry und me finished our Open Water Diver this week in our vacation.

@Giles sweet! It seems to be a perfect season.
Even the reefs close to shore seem to be quite fine. We went snorkelling for an hour today and it looked very decent. I can only imagine how it’s going to be further from civilisation.

Been on the must do list for a few years...We will do 11 days in a resort and then 7 on a live aboard......

@Giles we reversed the order.

We booked the live aboard to dive with a group of Filipino friends we met through Kai, our Filipono retailer. We have dived with them/some of them in The Philippines and Socorro before. The journey is long and expensive, so we added the resort on, to make it more worthwhile......

Oh, and as Paula has just reminded me. Our preferred option would have been boat and then resort, but someone has to be back to go fishing in Oman

Photos will have to wait. We are at Misool, this is the first time with one bar of LTE in days.
Bloody good dives! Today plenty of sharks, the reefs healthy and very diverse. Few more days here and we are going back to central Raja Ampat.
