First day back after some time off always leaves my hamstrings feeling destroyed.  But in a good way.  I think.

Trying to work a day or two of running into the normal gym routine.  Didn't used to care for it and still don't 🙂  And I still firmly believe the 'anybody can run a marathon after training' thing is a crock!

Also, I believe Stevia doesn't have the same insulin trigger as the other fake sugars.

Running, especially Short (100-800m) interval repeats are extremely productive as a supplement to a Strength training regimen. People that Lift Heavy and Run fast are often the fittest people.

Ironically, I knew someone that ran a marathon off nothing except 3-4 Mile training runs (2x a week) and a LOT of interval / strength training.  He didn't finish very fast, but finished and got the free beer and medal afterwards lol

Love it.  It hits a little too close to home. I've been working on my overall fitness and not training for the races. I run about once a month and it's usually a race of some sort.

Currently in the middle of a 6 wk challenge to drop 5% body fat or 20lbs. It's a pretty ingenious marketing plan. They call it "skin in the game". $500 upfront with a nutrition plan and full access to their strength training classes.

At the end of the 6 wks you get a full refund of $500 if you meet your goal. Then they use the before and after pics as marketing which is worth more to them. Only a few ppl don't make it.

                                2wks in and I'm down 10lbs. Roughly 10 more to go until I figure I've hit 5%.

Nutrition is based on macros. My daily allotment is 175g protien, 38g fat and 170g carbs.  About 1700 cal split into 6 meals. It feels like I eat all the time.
