Similar to the Meindl are the Limmer boots that are sold in the NE USA. Does anyone know if the Limmer off-the-shelf boots are just rebranded Meindl?

Not exactly just rebranded Meindl, but they are Limmer design/lasts made by Meindl in Bavaria.  Apparantly the guys running Limmer and Meindl are cousins
