First time I've ever gone with a small in IH (usually M, a couple L). Love it. 6'0", 153, with a loopwheel tee and 14 oz cpo underneath, if anyone wants the reference.

@gaseousclay just saw your post now. Thank you!

Here's another one from today. There's been some discussion about how warm this coat is and the answer is pretty damn warm. The material and lining is dense, cutting out wind and keeping heat in. In addition it is very well designed so the storm cuffs and collar do a grand job also. The nice thing about it is the flexibility. It's looks great worn open, and can be easily closed with the snaps. If you're out walking in the bitter cold you can zip, snap and employ the storm collar. Toasty.

@neph93 what size are you wearing here? As the weather gets warmer of course I’m thinking I need more wool!

This is an L @tvenuto . I can get it over a thick shirt and it’s trim but it works. I wear XL in most IH shirts.

I tried an XL jacket when I was in Gosport in July 2018. It was big enough for me to be able to layer comfortably under it, but very long in the arms and a little long in the body. Tbh, it is so fekkin warm that even in midwinter I don’t need to pack much under this one.

At the price they are going for now, I’d pick one up for next winter. You’ll be using it for the next 20 winters anyway.

Good deal. I’m an XL shading towards XXL so I think XL is the way to go. Seems like a very versatile design in a timeless silhouette. All that’s left is to decide whether to order it now or wait until I’ve had a few drinks some time in the next couple days.

Sounds right. I should mention I’m in team T-Rex when it comes to arm length.

I’d advocate for a sober purchase. Inebriated buys are easy but bring guilt. Sober ones are harder but far more satisfying (at least in my experience). [emoji1]

I don’t know man… there are some sober «purchases» from my college days I really wish I was drunk for and would much rather forget.
